It's really strange. They call the Book Of Angels Limited Edition "First Print Edition". I thought I heard them saying that the Special Edition is "First Print" only. Really strange.
Maybe I misheard - I was really shocked right before that because

I'm sorry, I meant GAME exclusive in the UK.
It might be exclusive in other countries too to one store, e.g. the only place you'll find it in Belgium (no GAME here either) is likely Game Mania.
Maybe that was the reason for amazon UK to make the Special Edition so cheap.
The same edition is 70EUR at amazon Germany (that's actually almost twice the price). I don't want to know how expensive the Book of Angels edition is going to be :/

EDIT: Typically GAME. I just tried to order it. First of all their account pages don't work on latest Firefox. Then I tried using my outdated Internet Explorer. That worked, but now my VISA card was rejected. Talked with my bank and they said literally: "they are not trustworthy, that's why we are blocking everything. We just whitelisted you, try again in 5 minutes. If it doesn't work, it won't work at all and we can't do anything about it". WTF Nintendo, why.... why are you doing this to me.
What IS really funny is that I just ordered a Pyramid Head statue from konami.com. For $150. And had to send it to a friend of mine in US, so that he can forward it to me. That really strange looking transaction went through without any problems. I even had to set my billing address to "United States".
EDIT: it just went through. Finally. I will delete my creditcard information asap.
EDIT2: GAME confirmation e-mail: "if you paid by card! We know it sounds obvious but make sure you've entered your card details correctly. We'll only take payment a few days before the title is released. If your card doesn't work for any reason, we won't be able to guarantee your order, so you might miss out."

I don't understand why everyone's panicking so much about Bayonetta not being included. If you want it that much it costs THREE POUNDS, and you can play it right now!

Cheap Arses: If you want the actual cheapest price for the double pack outside of amazon's error, it's getting the solus edition of the sequel for £30 and the Xbox 360 version of Bayo for £3.
That artbook edition is gross as well, surely no one would pay £60 for that?

Just cancel it and order it locally. GAME are asking RRP anyway, surely you can find it for around the same price through a local store or at amazon.de.

amazon.de is normally the most expensive of the bunch. It seems the Limited Edition is already exclusive to GAME in UK. Which probably means that it will be exclusive to one retailer/shop in other countries as well. I asked GAME about it. I will probably call my bank again and ask what's going to happen. I can always switch to paypal.
Well in case amazon.de offers it for 80EUR or less, I will change to amazon. But I doubt that. I guess they will ask for 100EUR or something like that.

Bayonetta 1 is enchanced. will possibly be the best version to play. i won't be paying £60 for that artbook version, especially not if it's game exclusive. it doesn't look bad though.

I have preordered this at the end of July, with the price of 439,99 EUR. But when I checked my Paypal today, Gamestop charged me 399,99 EUR instead?
I have sent them an e-mail, but no answer so far.
Has anyone of you encountered the same price change for his/ her preorder? :S

So it became cheaper, yay!

I don't think it looks gross, but I do think more could have been done. Rather than attach what looks like a pamphlet to the inner "Book" they should have truly made it a book, using thicker stock of paper and placing the 2 games on top. Or split the book up entirely and leave the outer foldable case as is. Not to mention the wings at the top are bound to get messed up somehow. Probably in transit...
I'm not a big fan of awkward, unorthadox "art books" that combine to make a case. I much prefer them as, you know, a book.
For that price I would expect the soundtrack on the limited edition or they can go do one!

Enhanced, but enough to warrant an extra ten quid? It's the same game, and it's not like the 360 version is incompetent. (The PS3 version probably is though.)
And yeah, I don't see what people are seeing in that limited edition. The box will be crumpled to fuck before it even gets in your door, and the flimsy "art" pamphlet glued to the inside cover looks like shit. You're paying like an extra £15 for that crap box and crap pamphlet!

ten quid is nothing if you value good gameplay and want to dig into your favorite genre. these games don't grow on trees. the xbox version has problems as well, like bad tearing etc. i agree the artbook is not that good. feels like a sampler. does nothing for me.
Hmm, they allowed me to order it. And I'm from mainland Europe.

DQV is the sought after one. Even reprints in America didn't do much to the price.
The speculative buyer out there should be aware that DQVI sealed will be worth more than £6 in years to come though (unless that paper Argos sticker ruins it), but one has to be interested in being part of the retro game reseller problem.
I'm from the same (shitty) country he is, and I ordered my copy about an hour ago. Never had any trouble with them, except for the whole "returned games are new!" fiasco they tend to pull.
Just the limited edition. The double pack is already up on Shoto as well. Has been since yesterday.

There was only UK delivery option when I tried to order first, but now I can choose overseas delivery. Still not ordered yet, I doubt they'll all be sold out soon, 15k is a lot.
Ah thanks. I was about to get angry heh. Hope the £31 Amazon pre order gets turned into the double pack.

15k might is probably for the whole of Europe. It is still a lot for Bayonetta 2.
Some of the UK stock should be in the Nintendo Store for the same price.

"If it is listed on the items product page and as that is the version you ordered, your order will include Bayonetta 1."
Whether this is what transpires is another thing.

Anyone know the cheapest place in the UK to get Destiny for Xbox one? I've tried to find somewhere that has it cheap but they're mostly around £45. Somewhere that has it for under £40 or has a usable discount code would be great.

It not meant to be but the description saying includes Bayonetta 1 is going to try and be used to force Amazon's hand (it might force them to change this to the special edition). It is likely the special edition has an RRP around £55 rather than the RRP of £40 solos does.
Yes it does. Cardboard box with 1&2 cover then 2 full sized cases inside. Will probably have USK logos though
