The impossible was said in the other thread. Someone complaining that not enough characters were cut. We have too many of them!
Bugfixes, yes. Taking feedback, no
Hmm waddle dees are removed from both dedede's movetset and his final smash o___O

Nah, they will probably be a Dedede's custom moveHmm waddle dees are removed from both dedede's movetset and his final smash o___O

Mad that we got DLC characters at all. I'd pay them 5 bucks just to leave the game alone. If we got DLC characters for Smash 4. I would like y'all to imagining this with me,
You finally finished with your errand, work or school then you just arrived at your house. First thing you would do is turning your preferred version on and went to EShop to purchasing the characters bundle. It's only 10 minutes to complete the downloading and installing process. You happily start up the game and went straight to game mode to only notice that DLC characters are still missing. Now you just realized that characters are unlockable characters despite the fact they are downloadable character. How would you felt?
Wait wut.
Retail demos are going live in Japan?
DAMN. So much hype!
How are we going to last these three weeks? ;_;
I need a plan of action.
In 7 hours, yeah. It's 4 am there right now... so not so much right now.

I didn't know this. Awesome! I hope we start hearing good things tomorrow.Wait wut.

Woah, only physical retail demos? Nothing on the E-Shop?

I'm pretty sure the Wii U version is already in the bugs/glitches test phase of development so if people find an annoying glitch in the 3DS version, I can see them fixing it for the Wii U to ship a "less" glitched game.I wonder if there is enough time between 3DS release and Wii U release to take feedback/bugfixes into effect for Wii U.
I would play a single vs match. I would have probably completed the requeriments for unlocking those characters by the time DLC is released![]()
As is typical for Nintendo's flagship titles, yes.
Nintendo's silly.
A demo would significantly boost sales, nope, too stubborn.
But really, if a Smash demo did happen, I'd want it to be limited to like three characters, two minutes on two stage choices, or something.

So when the game releases, are the POTD threads going to continue (seeing that there's the WiiU version left)?
Demos don't always boost sales, in fact, more often than not, downloadable demos can hurt sales.
They have 0 need to spend the time/money/resources on making a demo for eshop for a game that most people were going to buy anyway.

Also, didn't the latest Mario & Luigi game have an e-shop demo? Doesn't it count as a flagship title? It sure is silly that Smash didn't get one. I would have gladly accepted a 1-stage, Mario vs. Kirby 3-stock match demo.
Locked DLC? Ewwww.
Almost certainly. Brawl's Dojo went on for a bit after the game came out so that Sakurai could talk about the hidden characters and other secrets.
On cart/disk DLC confirmed

You can get the DLC for free but you have to beat 20 enemies in Cruel Multi-Man Smash.
Actually, the hardest part of bugfixing is figure out the bugs. Once you know what doesn't work, you can fix it pretty easilyBut bugfixes for bugs/glitches discovered on the 3DS version? I mean, clearly as soon as the game went gold, they dropped it and moved all available resources to Wii U, but will that team have ANY time to take ANY bug reports/feedback from users into account?
I don't know what their dev cycle is like, but it's at most... 2 months? Obviously, Wii U is feature-complete and probably has been for a while... but I'm doubtful, myself. Just wondering.
Don't eat him...

Yes this thread will continue.
Sometimes. Bugs found later in development are harder to fix, and then any fix you make for that has to be thoroughly tested to make sure it didn't break anything else.Actually, the hardest part of bugfixing is figure out the bugs. If the PotD focus completely shifts to the WiiU version after the 3DS release, then it wouldn't be very nice to flood the 3DS thread discussing PotDs ;pToo bad it will most likely die as everyone migrates to the 3DS OTI'm sure the PotD (even if Wii U version-related) will get discussion on that thread too, so this one is probably going to be superfluous.
Just do it rusty's real deal baseball style.
Maybe the more trophies you've unlocked, the cheaper the DLC is. Maybe you can spend coins to make DLC cheaper. Reward you for playing the game.
That's what I'm hoping forSo the Japan demo isn't even a fully rolled out, in store demo? More like just a demo event? Meh. We've had enough of those, just go get the game Japan!
Maybe there we'll see something interesting from the updated version I guess.

It should become more expensive the more you play. You know the nerds like me are going to pay up. And that way everyone's scared not to buy it, for fear of financial ruin.As good as that sounds, I really wouldn't want your skill to affect how much you pay for something.

The Canonical Miis: Abraham Lincoln as a Gunner, Elijah Wood as a Swordsman, and Ice T as the Brawler.
http://twitch.tv/clashtournaments will be streaming a Melee/Brawl/PM tournament this weekend at SLCC
should be starting pretty soon
You will be the sole poster. It will turn into a .gif thread.I'll keep this thread alive by myself. Believe it.

Got in an argument with a guy at Gamestop today because he was insisting that the Smash Bros. XL will actually be the New 3DS XL model
Did the JP direct get the same dudes?.
