I'm doing UR KOTR again and the guy first is like 20-0, but I'm comfortably second at 18-2. Only lost cause I played my commons

Finish second.
As long as you end up as 2nd, 3rd, 6th or 7th seed, you will avoid the first guy until the finals.

Just got my first legendary pull after hitting it in exhibition and it's HHH. Perfect, since dropping epic Orton now means that I have all 4 alignments.
I do love how the legendary cards have a holographic effect when you move your phone around like premium cards do in some sets.

Damn, I think once you get to Epic tier, the common bench strategy goes out the window.
With less people at that level, you seem to be matched with a much wider range of skills, so it ends up making very little difference. Might bomb hard in this KOTR as Orton and Rey are such weak links unless speed comes up. But the next one... #SaveUsLegendaryHHH.

I don't know tbh. It worked perfectly fine for me and I went from my full UR Pro team towards a full Epic Pro team without ever losing KotR once.
And now in Legendary it works just as good. Surely I pulled that Diva on my first Epic KotR win, but still.
Edit: Lol, the 7 matches to come are all negative records. Let's see if I can go through all of them without any refills. Going to try and be more careful with my Picks because I want to keep the Exhibition grinding down a bit.
I think you might be right. Looking at the matches I lost, they're actually pulled down to my KOTR level by still having a rare pro diva and no legendaries have shown up. It's just UR pro Rey being shit unless it's speed and Epic Orton being beaten by UR pros as standard.

So I ended up winning KotR and got a pro epic Kane. His stats are pretty awful but at least he's a left aligned card finally. Unfortunately I can't really use him as my runner because I have to save him for tag situations, which only happens in about 2/3 of the matches, while my diva is still a pro rare even though I'm one Kane level away from legendary tier. I keep getting disconnected for some reason though. Anyway, the UR second wind I got for finishing first is actually super useful and may end up lasting longer than my pro epic Kane. Here's hoping my first legendary is a diva... though I'd honestly prefer pro epic Naomi since she's easier on the eyes.
I wouldn't worry about saving him for tag matches, unless the rest of your team are underpowered. I just play the best card for the job and probably win 60 or so games to 1 loss.

Yeah that's what I've had to start doing. Anyway, I just got my first legendary. I've been wanting Daniel Bryan this whole time and have yet to get one better than uncommon so I've never used him. I've also been wanting a better diva for a long time. I guess the game decided to compromise, so it gave me a legendary Mrs. Danielson. This next KotR is going to be ridiculously easy.
Edit: Actually playing the best card first makes me lose about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time, as my cards are so unbalanced that if I lose with my pro epic, I'm almost guaranteed to lose the match. The better strategy for me is to play the best card only if it's that card's strength. For instance, if it's asking for strength, toughness, or a combo of both, I'll use Kane. Otherwise, I'll throw a lower card out there and hope for the best. If I lose, I can usually make it up later with Kane or another card. For now, though, I'm going back to slumming it until I want to start KotR (I'm going to wait until about 11 AM PST so that the elimination rounds start around 8 AM on Sunday, as I don't want to have to wake up early just to manage boosts). By "slumming it", I mean that I replaced my Pro UR Andre and Legendary Brie with commons to make winning Exhibition easier. It drops me back down to Epic+, where I can win almost every time. I accept that I'll always lose once, but the other 2 can use no more than 3 wrestlers, so if I make those 3 as good as possible and allow for a tag boost or at worst a tag neutral, I'll usually have the upper hand unless I run into somebody doing the same thing or somebody who happens to have a maxed out Legendary and only decent other cards.

Did well enough in my first UR KOTR to snag 1st seed at 41-8, 5 games better than the 2 seed. Was able to easily sweep into the finals, so I'll at least get a UR pair now. C'mon diva!

Good luck! Divas are weird because having a Legendary diva helped me win some matches but also bumped me up higher in exhibition so that if the game didn't involve divas, it typically meant I was facing wrestlers higher than mine since not many people have divas higher than epic.

Yeah, I thought about that possibility. Would just be nice to not worry about the diva part of things, I was going to grind out KOTRs for a while anyway to get more UR pairs. I have 4 max pro SRs already.

If you're in the KOTR bracket and your best 2 out of 3 finishes in 2 but someone else's doesn't finish until the 3rd...does your starting lineup lose stamina for your empty round?
Does it really work in Legendary though? Because the bar just fills up as soon as you reach that tier. I just assumed they grouped everyone in the tier together. I just entered my first Legendary KotR. 3 Epic Pros, 1 Legendary and 1 SR Pro Diva (lol).
Nope. You actually gain stamina I think. Happened in my last KotR

Nah it definitely still works. In fact I tried a completely different strategy this time. I posted it a bit earlier and I'd suggest people try it if you're ballsy enough and you want to do very minimal energy refills. You need to have two good diva cards for this though. I put a couple of commons into the tag slots for the entirety of the qualifiers and just switch my solo and diva cards after every match. Since the bench now gives +20, you will always have cards at full stamina after every match. I'm 33-6 with this strategy and I've only used energy cards when I've woken up the next day to refill all my cards since I put them all in play before I go to bed.
Yeah, I am sure it works. I entered with a common bench and was only like 30 points above the Legendary bar, so it was really close between Epic and Legendary. I walked through everyone. Same now, I entered with a Pro Legendary and noone else in there has one, just because my bench is horrible.

Well I waited until 11 AM to start KotR and now it's almost 1 PM and it's STILL waiting on players. I hope it starts soon because I'd like it to end at a decent hour on Sunday.

I've found that the best time for me to enter is at 9 pm ish. I entered one at about 11 am and that was a fucking horrible idea for me since the actual bracket after qualifiers started while I was still sleep. I fortunately still won, but it easily could've been a loss.

So I have 5 max SR Pros: Wyatt (L), Del Rio (L), Vince (R), Show (D), and Andre (U). With Cena being a R alignment, I'm guessing I go Cena/Wyatt/Show/Andre once I max pro Cena? I'll only have Show/Andre getting a tag bonus, but I think that would get me the best 4 in my Exhibition deck.

Ended up losin my first UR kotr in the semi finals. It came down to my sr pro adr against his sr pro adr, we both put all boosts. Speed and charisma were the deciding factors and he won with the undertaker support card while I had the +11 spd/power card. I couldve won if I used my +20 spd card i think . Got UR Shawn Michaels.
Currently 13-6 in new UR kotr. Im confident I can place top two in this one. There is a guy with 3 epic cards in the 11 spot at 8-11, as long as he plays bad it should be smooth sailin.

Yes, but not because of the alignment. Vince is pretty terrible in everything but charisma, and Wyatt is damn good at charisma AND has other upsides.

I just won my fourth KOTR. I'm 4/4. The last guy probably could've beaten me if he made a couple adjustments. Not sure why he didn't. Maybe it just didn't occur to him. Dude seemed like he was trying hard as fuck the entire tournament. His final record was 48-3 and two of those losses were from me.

I've been skirting by with a really shitty deck anyway. I'm surprised I've lasted this long. I've been rocking Vince, Batista and ADR (he's alright though). Batista is so shitty it just kinda blows my mind.
Oh no, you're right. Rowan is far too good to grace the common tier with his presence. As for how good he is, he is in the middle on the Epic tier, beating out Dolph, Del Rio, Brock, Kane, Razor, RVD & Ryback.

Alright, well I can live with that. At least I can finally say goodbye to Vince. I'll miss those easy wins on charisma only matches though. Man I wanna rid myself of Batista though. Maybe I'll just can him and keep Vince.
Leg KotR ends today. Obviously still hoping for a Right alligned card. Went 10 rounds and noone beat me, fully red. I honestly wonder how many people even play actively after the first 15 games because it does not appear to be a big number. Alot of them get their wins and stop doing anything.

You must be the exception then haha. That card gets thrown at everyone. I must have had like 10.
As for quitting the game mentioned above, I must say the interest is fading somewhat. I stopped grinding Exhibition. I'm going to keep playing but maybe just to qualify, after I get a team of 5 Legendaries.

Ok this is my first real chance of winning an UR KOTR.
Should I just unload all my boosts right off the bat in the quarters? Or should I leave the first game to get a feel for the guy?

Depends, if you know who you are up against then you can see if you will be needing those boosts. It depends on what Rarity his cards etc are, and if he uses his Energy refills. If you encounter someone with bad cards compared to yours, or someone with a shitty record that slacked alot, I probably save the boost for the later rounds. You can also use them right away, and make him think you go all out in every round. Then trick him the second round by not using anything.
I pulled an Epic Wyatt from Exhibition. I already had one, so that makes a Pro. He's Right Aligned so that is nice. He can replace Pro Epic Kane.

Right now I've got a max Epic Mystery, three max URs (including my diva), and then a bunch of SR Pros (the usual suspects lol).
In my first one so far and at 8-3, so not quite as easy as the 51-0 I went in my last SR KotR haha

Depends. I guess they have a chance but the more common Pro URs will beat those Epics. That is a bit difficult to deal with. Pro cards always seemed to work better for me.
Edit: Reread your post and you should be good with those. In fact you should easily win, especially with the diva. Do you use a common bench? By using rare cards you are inviting players with better cards than your into the KotR.

Well if anyone does have multiple Pro UR's or Epics, they are likely gonna win the tournament. So after your first 15 matches check to see what everyone is working with and try to steer clear of that person until the finals. The diva should help you out a lot though.
My 51-0 run in Super Rare was me having UR Shawn Michaels, Andre, and Naomi in the single slots, and everything else was common.
Is that the best approach for running a common bench, to keep the strong cards in single / diva slots because you hope to win those two matches (if not 3, if there's no tag match)?
Yeah, just everything on the main line will be the strongest cards available. Anything on the bench is thrash just used to keep the rating of your team down.
