Hot damn, played a match on Twilight Gap and fools got #rekt with the hand cannon and shotgun combo. Got 23 kills overall and the video should be up in about 30 minutes since I'm still rendering it. Guess what?!

I will be getting my PS4 copy this evening, around 8PM local time. I expect that by then the servers will have serious issues.
...and I will be contributing to these issues.

Highlight the stat when viewing your character and it will tell you which one affects which cool down^^ One for super, one for melee, one for Grenades^^

I have glimmer, that's not the point. For something that was a pre order bonus, the items should be free ffs.

Its not free, you just can get to the armory on day 1 without unlocking it ingame
They never said you get free weapons, they just said you get access to the armory and even the video shows the glimmer price tags on the items.

I don't think so. The heaviest volume on the server is the moment it opens during a launch. All those people coming back from the midnight launches, all the digital people jumping in all at once, etc.

I'm a Hunter and there is no scout rifle in the list of weapons. 60 attack on all weapons.

I decided to get Destiny delivered to my workplace. I think it's even worse as it is now sat on my desk, taunting me and there is still 5 hours till I finish work.
Also pimped my DsS4 controller with squid grips (I like the padding, feels more substantial) and KontrolFreaks (CQC on the left, FPS Ulta on the right).

If anything it's worse now because you can't sit and snip on top of the building. A bunch of captains now spawn and crawl up if you try and camp the location =/

It is a big game, Activision, Playstation centric, FPS. That is a lot of haters to accumulate^^
For what it is worth, a vast majority of folks here, and my IRL friends and family are all positive^^
At least they tossed the recommended level up. I always waited until my characters were 8 in the beta to tackle it. You definitely have to have some teammates that have headsets too. You need a lot of co-ordination for that fight. The fact that the same boss can show up for a public event is kind of ridiculous.

I went into the first mission after the tutorial and the tower visit (where I found 3 dead ghosts btw and 3 dead ghosts in the tutorial mission) and instead of going to the objective I have been running around for what is probably an hour just going to completely different places, fighting enemies lvl 3-5 when I am lvl 2 (i chose "hard" for the mission at the start for more bonus XP) and am just having a blast. I found some lvl 3 items, I killed a space wizard and I met multiple randoms, waving at them,dancing and killing enemies together. And I have not even gotten an inch closer to finishing the mission I am on.
So, am I doing it wrong?

Short story mode, lack of content and repetitiveness seems like the most common complaints I encounter when reading about the game so far. Seems like up until lvl 20 it's just another shooer with pretty graphics and co-op mode that has nothing spectacular to offer. We'll see what people will say about it on the magical lvl20 when the game is supposed to take off
The only way to do it is with a pair of playstation headsets. Either the Gold or the Elite have sliders for adjusting it.

It you ordered the LE or Ghost Edition, don't panic if it doesn't arrive with the normal mail. Happened to me and I was depressed and angry ha ha, but lathe parcel truck guy come a little later and it was mine!
Hope you get it anyway dude, would crush me not to have it day 1 (though I am busy today). If it doesn't and you're too impatient, I may just get a copy from a store and send the one I got from Tesco back. Of course if your wallet can handle it, ha ha.
Btw, with those 25 codes, does anyone have a list of where they were found in the LE? Would like to see if I could find anymore...
Also wondering about that alphabet thing on the back of the map poster.Also that trophy for killing a Hunter, Titan and Warlock without dying... anyone got it? I wonder if it means you have to kill a different class after the other for it to count cause I'm sure I've killed all of them in a streak before

Camping is boring. I love walking right up to the Walker and pumping shotgun rounds into his legs until he goes to do his body slam thing. Then jet away and hope not to die lol.
I'm sure the people on my teams are always wondering WTF I'm doing because I'm punching the Septic Prime guy with my Titan or sliding under the legs of the Walker and dropping grenades.

Still breezing through it. Maybe it's the hand cannons. It's gotta be the hand cannons, their range and damage are ridiculous.
I would hazard a guess that a lot of people that weren't in the know were expecting a strong story driven single player campaign and weren't happy with what they got.
I don't think there is a wrong way to play this game. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters.
Take everything at your own pace and find what you really like about the game.
