This. If you hang out behind that big center pillar you should be fine. The husk/thrall things that come at you are pretty easy to one shot. After that, the rest of them usually don't swarm into the room at all and stay outside.

For anyone else that ordered the Digital Guardian Edition and is not seeing their preorder/extras

Seems people have been having trouble accessing their extra content such as the ghost skins and vanguard armoury with complaints rising on the bungie support forum.

As i'm on the ps4, I managed to fix the issue by restoring my licenses. To do so, go to Settings -> PSN -> Restore Licenses and then the pre order bonuses should be available when you relaunch the game. Seems to be an issue with digital downloads as far as I can tell as the extra items weren't downloaded properly when preloading.

EDIT: I'll try update this with additional methods that people used to get their bonus content working.

Turned off the PS4 and turned it back on first, restored licenses again and under Destiny, in "Related Items" the DLC finally showed up. Credit: seooo13

Turn your ps4 all the way off (not stand by), turn in back on do not start destiny up, renew licenses, turn it all the way off and on again. This is the only way it worked for me. Credit: T1cklish

Log into the web store and download the expansion pack then download the vanguard armory. Then it was there after restoring licenses. Credit: mastamind229

Are these codes only applicable to one character? I picked the emblems up in-game for one of my characters but the new character doesn't have the emblems :(

Dammit!!! I knew I should've chosen this class but I hated the super shot so bad in the beta. Didn't think I'd like to suffer until level 15.

Everyone I've played with so far on PS4 and a lot of people in the thread seem to enjoy it a lot. It has faults like the stupidly overused Darkness Zones. the odd difficulty spikes, and the general story so far being uh... Well pretty bad.

But the game is fun, well made and immersive. That's worth credit.

If you count Metacritic user reviews as viable reviews.. lol.

There are no major reviews done yet at all, from any Metacritic accredited source on the planet, time will tell.. but my guess is somewhere between 8.4 and 8.8 Metacritc score.

Lots of 90%, a few 75-80%, a few 100% and the odd lowball score.

In my opinion the world and it's player population will provide the stories.. it's one of those games where your adventures will dictate your story, which is refreshing.

I did use my glimmer infused crystal ball for the aforementioned Meta-prediction, so I can only assume it will be quite accurate, Guardian.

I actually hung back on the left (facing the entrance). The Thralls would run at me in a single file line, so I could just line up my headshot and keep pulling the trigger until they were all dead :P

Such AI.

I haven't come across a single shotgun I've wanted to use yet, despite never changing my secondary from a shotgun in the beta. Hopefully I come across one soon as they were satisfying to use.
 
Please please please tell me they added a way to request fireteam members in the tower. What I mean is, instead of having to individually invite people to my fireteam, I want to show people I'm the tower that I'm looking for fireteam members and they can come to me

I've just been told I have to spend another day in the house tomorrow as it might arrive today, but more than likely, 8am-9pm tomorrow. Anytime.

My whole beef with them isn't about the fact I don't have it. I could literally pop to the supermarket 5 mins away and buy it. But what I tried to put across is If I spend another day off tomorrow, stuck in the house, what's to say the same thing won't happen? Because whoever is delivering has made no attempt to deliver.

I live in an apartment complex, 3 buildings, but my flat faces the carpark - I have not seen any van pull into here today. So they've not even tried. The woman on the phone couldn't comprehend that - that I have no assurances the same thing will happen tomorrow.

I'm fuming with them, I will not renew my Prime. I told her that much.

Good tactic for it is to get an Auto-Rifle on, spray them in the head, when they get closer, jump up on something or behind something and when your health is back, repeat.

I still think Gunslinger has it's place in the game, one of the perks allows you to fire off 4 rounds which is making me really consider sticking with it as opposed to Bladedancer.

PvP - Most likely Gunslinger
PvE - 100% Bladedancer

I'm actually finding it a bit easier than in the beta... I don't know if I got lucky with loot, or if I'm taking my time a bit more. But I was able to complete the first few missions on hard without dying.

Hand cannons ftw!

That's ridiculous, you deserve some compensation or money off your order at the very least for that. Their driver messed up so they pay the consequences.

I asked this in the old thread as well but couldn't get an answer. Is there a certain thing you have to do to start earning marks? I'm level 13 and I've played around 20 matches in the crucible but didn't get anything. I thought simply completing a match got you some crucible marks.
 
Can someone confirm if the X360 version works with LIVE GOLD trial codes? I have like 3 months worth of codes and would like to use them for Destiny, but the beta didn't work with trials... how about final version?
