Which class isn't showing up for you? Titan?
What is a reasonable expectation? I've played 3-4 matches now and had long streaks. There should be a 33% chance of killing a class, but killer 10+ and only getting a max of 2.

I just remembered that once you redeem the codes you have to go back and "use" them on b.net. Will probably be there now lol
So you have to log into the Prima web site to look at that guide... I don't like it!
I haven't cleared a mission in less than 20 minutes on hard with a buddy.
Dunno what 'still' means, as I never cleared a mission that fast in the beta.

I'm not sure if these are people who like the Halo stories who are saying that Destiny has a terrible story or not. I can see a lot of people coming from Playstation hating the Halo stories in comparison to Uncharted or The Last of Us etc. Would be interesting to hear comparisons made by people who like the in game Halo stories.

If you're not planning on running at least some of the missions coop, I'd say no. Gameplay is crazy good, but the story is just comprehensively bad.
level 7 and I just got 3 greens during an explore mission, no blues yet though.

I just bought the regular digital version of the game, couldnt wait for the limited edition that arrives in a few days. Anyone know if i'll be able to apply the perks of the limited edition, to the regular edition? (skins, armory, ghost, vessel, sparrow stuff) are they just redeemable codes ?
That's pretty standard for a shooter's campaign, if you are rushing through it.

I cant seem to get a clear answer if R1 dlcs will work on an R3 copy of the game. So I'm gonna try my luck here.. Does anyone know? Haha
And if there really isnt an answer to it yet, would anyone be willing to lend me any code to their dlcs? I wont redeem it. I just wanna see if it'll have the "code invalid" or not. Cause if it doesnt, it should mean it works right?

Seems like Destiny is impervious to criticism.
Story's not good ---> Doesn't matter, no one plays these games for the stories.

oh yea I haven't tried hand canon yet. Only tried it on the beta.
Auto rifle seemed a lot worse than the beta, especially for the headshots..

Same here. I had a feeling today was going to be the worst of it and sure enough, the day is already crawling by. Not too mention there's a severe thunderstorm coming my way tonight and I'm really hoping my power or internet doesn't go out.

If it's like the beta then it's because max level players DON'T hit much harder than high levelers. Three things affect your standard damage.
1) Damage is primarily affected by the 'impact' stat.
2) The attack/defence stats give a relatively small bonus to damage (it might be a big boost for legendary gear with crazy-high attack stats, but it's not the massive differences you get in a typical MMO).
3a) If you are UNDER-levelled then you get a BIG damage penalty. IIRC it was 50% for enemies 3 levels higher than you, and you do zero damage enemies 6 levels higher.
3b) Being OVER-levelled has no effect (or at least no noticable effect).
It's a clever system designed to help team play. Your level acts as a gatekeeper to stop you from playing the high-level content.
However, the low level enemies can still do some decent damage to you, so it can still be fun to play the low-level content again, either as exploration or to help out a lower level friend.
Oh, and goddammit Bungie. Add some audio balance sliders like every other game developer in the history of the universe. I'm not buying a PS4 gold headset just to get a hardware audio-balance override.

It depends on how the story is told. I didn't think the story in Halo 4 was bad so much as I thought it was horribly told.
A lot of people are saying the exposition in Destiny is very thin (being told through text) and the characters are boring. Those are fundamental problems with how the essence of the story is delivered that will have negative impact on how the players receive the information.

Halo still executed better lore and story than this. But I think that's cuz you have a key hero and key surrounding characters and cool mysteries surrounding the halos. I knew what was happening and didn't need it to be uncharted level to enjoy. There was cool progression, from attacked ship , to exploring the halo, to boarding a covenant ship, seeing the flood, etc
In destiny i don't know wtf is happening or why in doing anything. Suddenly I go to the moon for no particular reason other than its available. It doesn't really shove any story in your face though. Maybe there is lore if you search for it , but no one is doing that on launch day ha
