So I heard the doorbell ring and I knew the UPS guy was here with my Ghost Edition from Amazon. Went down to get it, came back up and opened it up and discovered this



That part was on the bottom of the box, and the culprit seems pretty clear. The box only had brown packing paper on the top like so

I mistyped; all members of the strike team can get loot, but each piece of loot that drops will only be available to a single member.

So each person only sees their own loot but each person gets loot?
That confirms what i thought when watching co-op exploration videos and the other guy would walk up to an open chest. They saw their own closed chest ready to loot.

I don't know really. Story feels kind of abscene because the split campaign. I can do the missions i kind of a free order so the narrative is uncontinuous. Crucible is fucking awesome though.

Thanks for the input. I just can't wait to reach a high level and do srikes, explore and PVP. Its fine for me if the story is lacking. Im already facinated by the lore I have been reading about so far. I see myself still being immersed in the destiny universe.

Story missions are getting longer even though they still usually come down to deploying and protecting Dinklage. I don't think it's bad, it's just sort of "there".

You know they have made a pretty cool game here, but the destiny app is also pretty damn cool. Does anybody know how long it takes to sync up info though? My stat are up to 4, but the app still shows 2 and none of my gear and my titan is already getting swanky. I'm going to wait till I get a bit higher till I start posting the pretty though. It is cool to see the diversity of loadouts already (makes me wish there were more face and hair (beards) options)

All missions can be re-played as many times as you want.

Edit. Misread you, you mean the XP mission rewards? I haven't started more than 1 character yet, so I don't know. You should get those rewards again on another character.

Same here. There was aa bit of a split on one corner. If be passed if it wasn't basically a cardboard box. Not even the thick kind of cardboard with the gloss, just regular cardboard. Almost considering throwing it out at some point. Not really worth presenting either.

It's missing the clear overtures to WipEout's design aesthetic throughout.

They seem to have removed the horrible aim acceleration from the Beta, which is a huge plus.

Aside, does anyone know if using a certain weapon class (ex. Scout Rifles) increases the probability of earning/finding weapons of the same class. I really want my SR with a scope before I play much crucible, but I'm level 10 and have only found one crappy SR so far.

I didn't honestly know that was the case until reading the comment you replied to, but now I'm excited. I knew that there was some scaling so that you didn't simply oneshot everything ten levels below you, but that plus this is a good recipe. I think preferring the alternative is arcane.

this is a design element in guild wars 2 and I fucking love it. I understand it's different, but bear with me for a second.

in this kind of game, you will be replaying content to get the most out of it. that is a given, a "must-acknowledge-before-entry," a known variable. But even though you need to improve your character and continuously upgrade your gear to be effective, the total pool of content that is relevant to you only shrinks in a traditional MMORPG. As you get higher, the idea of redoing the first zone for anything worthwhile becomes a joke.

Instead, this other style mean that you can choose wherever you feel like going questing and have a shot at decent rewards. There are many reasons this is good, but for one thing, if you go and help a new player out, it ensures that it might not be a completely pointless exercise for you. Furthermore, it's more freedom in terms of doing what you feel like. The question you responded to is hilarious to me:

Uh because that sounds like it would get old as fuck? The idea that you could just pick the easiest possible tasks and do them over and over again rather than attempting something more challenging is supposed to be incentive for me? I mean feel free if that's what you want to do, but... I thought we wanted to reduce the sense of repetition here.

Yet consider the other angle, if only level 2 stuff dropped for you back on Earth. "What's the point of going back to Old Russia if I can only get decent drops on Mars?" Traditionally the answer is: none. enjoy Mars. But with this framework you can hop back to the moon or earth and still get some relevant advancement.

I'm on the PS3 version right now (bought it digitally so I can get the digital version on my PS4 for free).

Game definitely feels weightier than the alpha and beta. I'm a Warlock and I had to crank my sensitivity up to 5 to even feel somewhat like I did back when we were testing. I also just got the speed upgrade and that helps. However, yeah, there's some noticeable changes I'm finding. Also, chests don't drop as much glimmer. This makes sense since it makes it harder to farm (which you can still do on Earth).

I'm finding the Evil Within strike harder than before.
