Not much have changed since the beta. So far I'm kinda bored but I'm only level 7. This is the same stuff I've done before, so I guess I'll head to the moon (FINALLY).
 
Best Buy says they shipped my LE today, preordered the minute it went live. I hope this is just a failing on their system and it gets here today.

Why oh why didn't I do pick up in store!

What country are you in?

Mine is exactly the same from GAME UK. I've spoken to others with the same rip on the box. Seems it's a widespread issue.
 
damn...was going around free roam on the moon getting dead ghosts. I was pretty far deep into the area too...then I got kicked. Now I have to walk all the way back down....ughhh
 
Man I like a lot about this but dislike a lot too. Those fucking invisible walls, the dead end doors in the underground areas, and the respawning just break me from the immersion so much. Agreed with others its harder. I play on hard when I can but man got scooped a couple times. The first time I got the sword I was treated like a pinball and just bounced around by badguys till I died
 
What class do you guys see people using the most online?
Im hearing everyone is a Warlock?

I kind of want to go against the grain for my character
 
Kind of frustrating to have the digital copy on my hard drive for days and only get to play a little less than an hour this morning. (Going in to work early today suuuucks.)

But I decided to go with Hunter again, which was what I played in the alpha. I missed my awoken. She looks awesome.
 
Well the story leaves a lot to be desired but the strikes are hella fun,

I feel they have put down a very strong foundation though, it has a lot of potential.
 
So I'm coming up to the end of the Moon so here are some complaints so far.

LOADING, oh god the loading! Loading leaving a mission, loading going to town to identify a weapon, loading going back, loading going into next mission and it takes a while!
I think some of the stuff in the Tower would have been better as an option in a menu. I mean, I know it's there for social stuff but you can't communicate so all you can do is play football or /dance.

Story seems a bit lacking. Like, there isn't much there. We get some lore from Dinklebot and that's cool, but like, I'm doing this because Dinklebot found/revived me somehow (I'm a robot so at least in my case I can feel ok about it) and because I'm a guardian and we have to do this. I mean, the game is fun and there seems to be cool lore here but is this a case where the story and all the important plot info is in the database? Is this FFXIII again?

Not run into a public event yet but then I've not really tried to (like hanging out in a single area on a planet long enough). Not a problem just saw some other people mention it and thought I would too.

Warlocks have maybe the worst vanity/class wear item.

Positives:
It's fucking fun.

I'm a space magician robot

Guns are cool, abilities are pretty cool so far.

PVP is fun.
 
I've seen two public events so far, which is kinda disappointing seeing I'm almost level 12.

One elite dude spawned in Russia, and a big spider tank thing spawned on the moon. Both were fairly challenging, so that was cool.

Also really like the first strike.

I remember saying they worried they'd be redundant and too frequent. I guess that was only the case when everyone stayed on one map forever because of the alpha/beta.
 
The #1 Destiny Stream on Live at PlayStation ended after 12 hours with a general sentiment of disappointment. "Bullet sponge" enemies at "unbalanced PvP". That makes sense, judged on the footage I've seen, but I haven't played the full game yet.

How are people on GAF liking it, generally? Any complaints that are consistently appearing?

How do i unlock my Vanguard Armory set ? I bought the preo-order version on the HK store (Xb1 version) and i found nothing, any ideas ?
 
So that room under Old Russia that had the ??? dudes in the beta...was there any point to it? I made my way back there for revenge (I totally forgot about the place) and there wasn't anything in there, just a few dudes lol
