I got a system popup saying "online services are not available for this app" but nothing was actually interrupted in-game.

Only seems to happen to me whenever I try to do the strike mission every single time I managed to get to the final boss then the connection cuts and I have to do the entire strike mission again.

I work on a computer so I've been looking at destiny stuff all day. *sigh*

And I am freaking confused about faction rep, faction marks. Ugh. I'm still at work and haven't had a chance to play, but all of this stuff is confusing and overwhelming.

This is going to sound a little dramatic, but I really think the heavy engagement that some kids have today in an online mostly world are creating an absence of self-identity. By 'hating' on something that is universally hyped they are attempting to separate themselves from the perceived expectation attempting to gain attention and recognition. Kind of like how media competes online, most ridiculous, negative, shocking stories get the clicks. Its really more or less "Look at me!". Not saying the complaints aren't valid, but if you look at the majority of the criticism, it is hyperbolic not well-thought out generalization.
PS I have no fucking idea what im talking about, but maybe theres a good nugget in there somewhere

you have to go to PSN and download it, you have to do it manually, then you go to the armory and they will SELL you the weapons for 250 glimer a piece.
Damn, hope it gets better for you mate! Probably just launch quirks.

Took me forever with randoms as well, but we eventually worked it out with zero communication, you just need to make sure you take out the support as soon as it arrives.

Bummer. I can't even keep it upright 'cause my base is literally destroyed.
Amazon only credited me $5.00 too. It was either that or return it for full price. They said they'd keep me in the loop if new shipment comes in for a replacement... Not sure if they'd get them.
I hear it's not just Amazon. It's with GS too... They apparently issue $15.00 for dents, and $30.00 if the box is heavily damaged.

I started with Hunter but Golden Gun made me switch to Warlock.
sounds like Titan Hard mode on launch. Should be fun as long as I run with gaffers (hopefully)

Played for about 6 hours and finished the basics of what the beta was, plus a couple of moon maps. No explore, PvP, or grinding already played levels (did do a couple of levels again to help it a fire team member). Plenty of content here for me, and a couple of moon missions felt like strikes. Sure I have a wish list to make it the perfect game, but as is it's damn fun with lots of stuff to do. Level 9, and I now have my Shengin C. 
...still looking for one with different perks though.
Edit: only one small network issue the whole time as well.

Trade spinmetal to the faction NPCs, Save weapon parts to upgrade later weapons.

You scared me for a moment there. Hoping I can play at least a little when I get home tonight.
I can't describe the issue in the beta, but the framerate didn't feel like a smooth 30fps. Felt sub 30

Just had some weird lag in PvP. Progress bars in Control would only load after you capture a point so you had no idea of the progress. Melee'd one guy four times, no deal. One of my teammates was teleporting about and some dude rubberbanded into my throwing knife.

get on with Amazon chat and ask them for some money back. They completely smashed my last 3 special editions and I got money back every single time.
I will never be buying limited editions from Amazon again.
