What is up with clans? So you create a group & clan on B.net but then nothing in game and have to manually invite members/friends through web links on B.net?

This is ass backwards or I'm just plain missing something.
 
I'm level 15 and I've completed most Moon missions, minus the Strike, and I've unlocked Venus.

The missions are not engaging. They all feel the same.

Story and narration suck ass. They're nearly non-existent. It's just the Ghost telling you everything. You don't interact with any NPCs so you feel alone. The universe and atmosphere are God-tier (remind me of Mass Effect) but the story feels as dead as Dark Souls.

Loot and Crucible are cool, though.

I'm not completely in your seat, but if an FPS didn't offer inverted Y I would return it immediately. You get used to one way of looking. Trying something else is just not possible.

I mean yeah, I get that, but it just stands there spinning in circles. If it actually walked around, I think it would add more to the experience.

Strikes are story missions. They are the culmination of the story missions themselves.

No it isn't incorrect, if you wish I could record me going through all the story missions and showing how they all end up with you going towards an objective, pressing square and then defending the ghost. Just to clarify this is the story missions not strikes. However strikes have their own set of problems. Now I understand you might feel the need to be defensive because I'm not liking the game when you are, but I'm not making stuff up, like I said, I'm actually further Venus and the Moon. It's not me basing my experiences on hearsay.

This seems fairly obvious playing the game. Story mode feels like a tutorial.

Wow, really? I didn't even think to check the control section - that's a crazy oversight! Wasn't Halo was praised for its wide range of control configurations?

What level are you? I just went through with my level 9 Warlock and did it first time. Rocket Launcher to the witches face followed by Fusion Rifle to finish the other two off, lots of jumping around all crazy shooting bad guys with grenades everywhere. Then when the Ogre appeared I ran back up the stairs I came down into the room and stayed at the top shooting him from afar, he didn't feel the urge to walk up the stairs so I just had to dodge his weapons fire.

It was a crazy battle though, toughest so far that I've come across.

Was level 11.

I was playing on hard though. Never had a problem with any of the hard mode missions. Everything was smooth up until there. Holy crap. Thank you Famicom. You're my hero.
 
Somehow I fucked myself out of some emblems.

Where did they go? They were in the post master but I grabbed to many so they diapered and one of them was the Bungie veteran one.

Please help anyone??

I don't know if the backlash has been huge but I can feel it coming on. There are few people in here defending the game vehemently but overall the sentiment seems to be that the game is lacking in substance. Great visuals, great controls, but there really isn't anything to come back for.

I'm nearing the end of the moon and I can see the tedium and repetition already and judging by what others are saying I think we're all in for a grind.

I bought digital, too. :(

Y, sure. I get it. I don't play that way myself (barring flight games), but I get why people like it.

But X? No.
 
If I want to invert one, why would I not want to invert the other??

If I'm doing it because of this, the same would hold true for left and right..

The last of us and almost every FPS I've played has both options... why not include it?

The PvP is fun :P, plus kinda did spend like £84.99 on it haha. It is weird because I pre-ordered after I played the beta, I was excited for it. I didn't expect to be here bashing it.
 
For those of you jumping on me for wanting the option for both axis... I'm not trying to force you to play a different way. I just want the option. I mean, why the hell not?

I just got finished with a last of us playthrough that let me do both. Do you realize how hard it is to try to play when you've been playing the other way your entire life?
 
I can't believe how much effort it takes to join a squad or play with other encounters with people. I am level 8 and have yet to group up with anyone so far.
