DUDE, according to a few poster here, you are not allowed to have a negative opinion on the game, only a fucking positive one!
First match I got a .0.25 kd, lol.
I definately need to change up my weapons as I was just using the stuff I've played through the story mode with thus far. My only kills were melee as my weapons didn't seem to touch them.
Quick question, how can I get that rifle?
And the fact that the clan/group stuff is badly designed, confusing doesn't help. Almost lvl16 and haven't grouped with anyone except the randoms during the 2 strikes.
Game is OKish but no where deserves all the hype. Good time waster though.
I don't think we will get any new planets btw. Will have to wait either for comet or Destiny 2 for that.
Maybe, though I couldn't help but notice the grimoires on the app have a page for jupiter and mercury already.
I saw one public event in Old Russia but there was no clear indicator as to where on the map it was taking place so I ended up moving in the wrong direction and couldn't find/complete it.
So if I want a specific weapon, do I need to grind certain missions for a drop?
I was recommended the Cydonia AR3 for PVP and have no idea how to get it.
aren't jupiter and mercury PvP maps?
So is there really no way to make your fire team invite only? Strange how many staple features bungie themselves invented through halo that are missing from this games matchmaking & party options. Is there even party options?
Guardian, I don't suppose you speak pre-Golden Age German by any chance? No, no, no one does.
My grandmother has told me of this long forgotten language, long before the traveler arrived, maybe I can remember some words..... guten .... tag..... essen.... mein.... scheisse![]()
but seriously, pm me if you are game...

Is it true the story is horrible? One of the main reasons I was excited for this game was the awesome story. Now that single player mode seems to be horribly repetitive with no real "amazing" sequences/levels, what's the appeal of this game beyond gunplay and visuals/art?
Super disappointed and I haven't even received the game.

If Jupiter has a map I will get a flight to the US, find Bungie headquarters and give them a science lesson. And I'll trade in the game.
Didn't they turn Jupiter into a garden world?
I have no idea anymore, I just shoot mans.

I just finished the story. Wow, that was boring. It feels like they took Halo and watered it down to fit their ambitions for a new franchise. I literally spent 15 hours shooting scout rifles (and sometimes auto rifles), scrounging for universal ammo clips, and holding 'X' so my ghost can do a thing to make more enemies appear. Enemies aren't fun to fight because they all take way too many bullets. There are too few chests to make exploration feel worthwhile. And I could go on and on but now I'm just bummed out.

They take too MANY bullets?
Man I was actually complaining about how quick enemies die in this cause headshots with every weapon are easy and super damaging.

Oh dear

You raise a good point. Has ANYONE seen a public event occur yet?

I'm also pleased with the fact the game got more diffcult since the beta.
Currently solo-ing a bunch of Venus before I have to go to my partner's fashion show (BORING). I'm down for some Moon Strike though, just invite me Izuna Lasky - XB1
They have said an expansion pack will have one of everything. So a few story missions, a strike etc.
I might try the madness that is PvP, especially as somebody who normally has like a 0.5 k/d on games like CoD.
Any tips/suggestions or should I avoid all together?
I dont think they'll turn a Gas-Giant into a solid Planet. If Jupiter has a map I will get a flight to the US, find Bungie headquarters and give them a science lesson. And I'll trade in the game.
Also new areas to explore?
It's science fantasy, they can do whatever they fucking want.
This is the same game that has time-traveling robots for god's sake.
The array sequence on Hard with just two of us at levels 6 and 4 was craaaazyyyyy. Not enough free time to play this game! Wish I was jobless and girlfriendless for like 3 months
Yes science fantasy. You have to have some freaking form of physics in place. If you are disregarding physics completely like that then you should no longer call it a science fiction aha
Go to options, roster, fire team and click the icon at the top of the list.
Uhm sure you can. Press start and then l1 and select firetean privacy
Gaf,
If your TV brightness etc. is calibrated do you need to go into settings in Destiny and change the brightness setting? If you have changed what are you using
