PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

I feel weird about DR1...
the ending didn't feel satisfying at all.
the battle felt so stretched... and the whole Junko thing felt so... cheap? like okay.

is School Mode worth playing? what's the best way to max all the individual student reports?

To be honest, no, I don't think it's worth playing. I kept on playing it just because I want to spend more times to understand my favorite characters, but so far I don't see any point to play it outside of that.

No comment about the spoiler. I think you will need to play DR2 but I haven't finished it yet.

The customs got my Danganronpa 2 limited edition. Out of everything I imported this year, why did they have to retain FREAKING DANGANRONPA 2? Even just by breathing, I'm taking chances of getting spoiled.
Aw, that sucks. I just got my LE today, but I also double dipped with the digital version.

Stay strong and spoiler free!

Finished Chapter 4 of DR1. This is how I feel after that twist:

This game is too good.

This was me after chapter 2.

For VitaGAF: Woke up my Vita and was greeted with the 'You have removed the memory card while powered on' screen. The thing was, I hadn't. It was still in there. After this my Vita refused to restart (black screen, blinking blue light) I went into safe mode, tried rebuilding database and reformatting the card (it says there is no card, when there is).

It seems the card died while in my Vita, under normal use. It's a 64 Gb card from Nippon Yassan.... What can I do? Will Sony change it? Replace it? I'm in the UK.

Eh. sounds like a terrible situation. It could be a fault with the system though. Have you tried putting in another card?

This is kind of the vita thread I think, so just want to say I finally dusted off my vita to play it for dango rango 2. Literally dusted that sucker off.

Pop out the card, wipe the contacts (the copper bits) and then put it back in.

Man, X4 totally was as great as I remember it...

But X5...man, it seems such a step down. No anime cutscenes, no real voice-acting, weaker and shorter levels, shitty Bosses, etc. Also I still don't get all the obtuse custom parts, and the laser/shuttle thing.

Stuck working away from home with Destiny and the PS4 back there calling to me... if only I had something to do in the hotel...

OH WAIT DANGANRONPA 2!

Really enjoying this, made the mistake of watching the anime before the first game which obviously ruined all the tension and made the game silly easy. Now I haven't seen much of the twists coming.

Chapter 3 now investigation now and it's so good, but I can't bring myself to go into the thread in fear of spoilers!

Playing through Jumping Flash 2 on my Vita off and on the last couple weeks and sketched up Robbit.

Vita GAF is the best. <3

Lovely drawing! I can't wait to play Jumping Flash once my 64GB arrives. The US store also has a way bigger classics selection, right? I will dig in HARD.

Wait, what happens when customs retains a package? are you in NA or EU?

He's in Brazil. What happens is that they charge him import fees (of almost 100%, but sometimes you can get lucky and pay only 60%).
But nothing like they keeping the package to themselves or sending it back, oh no, They just rape your wallet.

I'm liking SAO so far, i think it has many innovative and interesting mechanics, i really like the interaction with other characters(not only the main ones), see them wandering and fighting in the battlefield, the cooperation with the comrade, the first person view(you can see swords when attacking!), the launch of a dagger to attract an enemy in a more secure place and so on.

The only things that bother me are that i'm still not used to the interface and that some missions require too many killings since even easy fights require many hits, so they are not as short as in other rpgs.

When does the Japanese Store get some new Sales? I still have 400 Yen from last Year left and want to spend 'em on something. Maybe a Ps1 Game i've never played.

For easy fights you could just pull the whole group of enemies and use AoE attacks.
And it should get better the more you level up as well once you unlock stronger skills and buffs to keep the downtime low.

Is anyone having problems creating a party on ps4? Me and my friend keep getting an error message when we try to create one.

I googled the error message and found 1 guy having the same problem on August 19th, but then other people replied today having the same issue

http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-4-Support/NP-31803-5-error-code/td-p/44319882

It's because of Destiny probably, loads of people have parties going on atm and it seems PSN has problems with that.

almost 100%?! That's ridiculous :/

Hmm, first I've heard of a card just dying then. :/

I have a faulty 16 gb card. It was just me being extremely stupid though, as I bought it used from a private, who said that it was working and that problem might have been caused by the delivery.

However, the system actually recognizes the card, but it gives me an error when I try to format it.

hmm or should I get SAO?

I think SAO is a good buy :). Lots of content, great presentation, fun combat and gameplay and while there is a bit to much fan service, the story and events in the game can be generally enjoyable :). Not to mention it frequently gets free DLC and the big patch is supposed to be coming latter this month, giving the game even MORE content.

I love the game, so I highly recommend it :D.
