there's the big fan in the roof of the postmaster building. have one person stand on it then go to the 2nd level of the nearby catwalk area and you'll find an area that let's you hit square to turn on the fan. throw your friends into the air. it's more fun to surprise people with it.

Ahhhhhh, I see that now. Thanks for the tip. I found another ghost up there as well, so I appreciate that too.
 
Just got my PS4 limited edition copy from Amazon, thankfully there was no damage like with the PS4 Ghost edition. Just the X1 Ghost edition to go tomorrow.

Just played through the earth missions on Hard solo.

This game is incredibly fun.

Seeing plenty of loot drop so far, too. Feels just the right pace for it.
 
Does anybody know if you can be in more than 1 clan ? Or if you join a temporary clan can you return in your previous one. I'm in DestinyGAF NA East 1 with a friend and another friend is in NA East 4 so we can't get the trophy for completing a strike with clanmate and without dying.
 
Hi guys, I am hoping someone can help :) I am new to this game (level 5 warlock) and I do not understand how the coop works. I would love to play some story missions with some other players, but I do not understand/know how. I tried searching in Google "how to coop in destiny ps4" to no avail... Please explain for a n00b.
 
My only real complaint is the way Bungie is handling the social aspect. They make the options really weird to change for grouping. They hide the public option for fire teams in your roster as opposed to "settings" where it belongs. How are casuals ever even going to notice that? They should change everyone's to public as a default and move that option to settings where the average person might see it.

Also implement proximity chat as an option in the tower asap.
 
Okay have they explained why on xbox one you can't join a fireteam from within Destiny...you have to go to friends app...it works on every other system but the one
 
Did the Devil's Lair Strike. We wiped twice, but for the most part it was quite easy.

Booting up the game I got the "Change of Heart" achievement. I am not sure how or why.
 
Finally got some decent gear, and just hit Lv,15 so SunDog class engaged!

However... there's one that really annoys me, as a SunBro you'd think the magic in my palm would go from the blue void shit to sun magic in the gear inventory screen no?

It feels like the thread shifted atmosphere even as I wrote my complaints on the matter last night. More valuable criticism without scathing adjectives. I like it.

Not that it means much, my opinion on things.
 
As much as I want to like this, I just can't get into it... kinda bored my already:

- Missions are pretty much the same
- Getting back to the same area over and over to kill a diferent bunch of mobs.. he not fun
- Combat is kind of the same
- Loot is not that varied nor that interesting to play with, little stats.. not meaningful
- Lore is nonsensical
- Self serious tone is dorky and annoying
- Lack of matchmaking for key activities is WTF?

For a game that is supose to be like the biggest game ever and stuff, it feels very contrived, almost small... monotonous and flat. It may be my personal bias as I usually don't like loot driven games with shooters (contradictory design), Yet this being Bungie I was expecting more I guess.

Glad most of you guys are enjoying, I wish I was.

Hey guys, about to get on for three or four hours. Level 7 Titan. Willing to PvP, or do PvE if you want to join and you're higher level we can just up the difficulty if you don't mind doing lower level story stuff, or if you're lower than me I'd be happy to help you do the part of the story you're on and we can bump up the difficulty if need be to get more monies!

Don't go in to the PVP expecting Halo levels of balance. The PVP is basically there for people to show off class mastery.

And there are vehicles, by only a handful. Considering each player gets their own Sparrow, it isn't as bad as some made it out to be.
 
Damn, I've gotten "Removed from the game world" half a dozen times this morning. One happened right at the end of a Strike mission. Annoyance increasing...
 
I posted this in the GAF-Clan thread but didn't get any responses, so maybe my question is that stupid, but...

How do you interact with clan/alliance members in-game? I have the NA GAF East 3 clan tag and everything, but I don't see any interface for partying up with clan/alliance mates.

Don't even know why they made the clan/group system if it's basically useless.

I don't think you can, outside of manually adding them to your friends list
