Soo, what's the best type of weapon for PvP? Im using a hand gun right now, but seems I'm already dead before I get a chance to shoot.

I don't consider myself very good at PvP so far but I've been using auto rifles with small success. Shotgun works pretty nicely for me though.

Did I just beat the game?

Like Wut?

The game is kinda short from a storyline perspective, but there's still more out there to do. I don't get why this is surprising to people. But hey, I always thought of the game as more like Diablo where it's expected you're going to be running through content repeatedly on that loot grind. Which I'm fine with as I like that style of carrot on a stick gameplay.

I'm Auto Rifle/Shotgun/Machinegun.

Most of my (hunter) kills come from a melee Shotgun combo. And if they try to hop back and away I throw a knife in their face.

Machinegun is so OP...

Anybody getting bogus Postmaster alerts when in the Tower? I go to the Postmaster but there are no messages yet get an alert every time.

I just have no idea that was the ending, because I having no idea what's going on in the story.

Yeah. It will go away eventually

For real. I have a hard time figuring out why use a rocket launcher in PvP unless you're a hunter and want AoE damage that badly.

The launcher is better for Control matches in my opinion. Everyone clusters in a circle. Just fly over them and blow them all away. Works every time.

Beat the mission with the
giant Hive knight on the moon.
It's bizarre, since the fight is so cool, but the story component is handled so damn poorly. Dinklebot doesn't even comment on it! You'd think that'd be the bare minimum.

Dat blue tho. Bladedancing all day every day.

I just throw a grenade and pick them off, or use the nova bomb.

Yeah, I've used a rocket in that situation before, but still, machine guns are so easy to go on a kill streak with. The ones that have stability are insane.

I need some players to run story missions later today. I'm a bit overleveled from playing Crucible so I'm almost level 13 and haven't done the first Moon mission or Devil's Lair strike.

PSN is StrongBlackVine9 at around 6/7 pm Eastern time. Mics please!

As much as I want to like this, I just can't get into it... kinda bored my already:

- Missions are pretty much the same
- Getting back to the same area over and over to kill a diferent bunch of mobs.. he not fun
- Combat is kind of the same
- Loot is not that varied nor that interesting to play with, little stats.. not meaningful
- Lore is nonsensical
- Self serious tone is dorky and annoying
- Lack of matchmaking for key activities is WTF?

For a game that is supose to be like the biggest game ever and stuff, it feels very contrived, almost small... monotonous and flat. It may be my personal bias as I usually don't like loot driven games with shooters (contradictory design), Yet this being Bungie I was expecting more I guess.

Glad most of you guys are enjoying, I wish I was.

almost exactly my thoughts. Had I kept my 360 and purchased with my friends it probably would have been a different experience.

I may not be on at that time, but add me still for the future. My psn is Afrodeeziyak.

Also, I have a lot of GAFfers now on my friends list! Thanks folks!

Played till 3:30 AM last night. Holy shit, I didn't have any expectations for this game... But I think I'm in love. Warlock Nova Blasted the first Wizard and killed everything; it made me very happy.

Was this the one locked in a cage?

I think this is the one I defeated just by shooting my sniper rifle through the cage.

Dinklebot hyped me up for nothing.

For control the rockets are amazing. It's also really easy to predict when people are going to turn a corner. I pretty much look at heavy ammo drop with it to be multiple free kills.

That makes sense. What's the medal you get from using the rocket to get 3-5 kills? The machine gun's called "Machine Lord". I love it.

Just went to the Moon for the first time, dat atmosphere.
And there was this amazing tune playing during the first big encounter, uptempo, perfect fit for blasting at groups of enemies.

Ghost: "This should lead us right to the grave; the world's grave, not ours."

Best line in the game so far. i lol'd.

Only because they got rid of the moon wizard line though.
but that was pretty good

About halfway through the moon missions and enjoying it so far. Only bummer is I haven't seen as many people out in the world as I did during the beta. That was a really cool part that I felt was a true 'next-gen' experience. I think at most I've seen two others at the same time. So far I've been soloing as I wanted good to get to the point I had good enough gear prior to intruding upon others so I could be more helpful. I don't think I'm even going to bother with the crucible until I max and will only go in when I can get a team going.

I'm about to hit 10 on XB1, PS4 I'm still a 2 I think.

Hit me up on either

GT is Mouroutaru on both. Anyone already on my list send an invite and I'll drop what I'm doing and join you (although a bunch of you are already higher levels so I'm trying to match up so I won't bring you down.)

This game is reminding me of Diablo even more so than other comparisons made. Where an initial play-through is decent, but it is the multiple times through and playing with others where it starts to shine.

As far as mission and story structure, it is okay, but I can definitely see some potential for more they could do. Be interesting to see what they do going forward. I don't see how any game can stand up to the level of hype this has been getting, but for me it is the game I thought it would be and I'll be playing it for a long time.

Got my first Legendary Engram. Was a special weapon one. I was excited. I got 3 Ascendant Shards -.-

The two legendaries I've gotten so far from blue engrams are for titans, I'm a Hunter =(

Maybe I didn't have expectations about this game being the second coming of Christ, but I'm having a blast.

I'm level 11 and haven't touched PvP, so I'd guess I'm a decent way into the story. Not really understanding peoples issues with it.

Maybe people want or like 10 to 15 min of non interactive story shit every 30 min? I don't get it.
