is anyone happy with their titan?

because i feel underwhelmed with my abilities in mp :/

Titan takes a long time to become viable.

My lvl 8 beta titan had a better skillset than my lvl 15.

I found that taking off the "sprint adds distance to your special" perk, as i overshot my targets all the time.

What do the laurels signify on the mission icons? Some are just stars but the others are stars with laurels, what is the difference?

Those are the like, primary ones for the story. The ones with just stars are more generic I believe. Completing the ones with laurels actually results in progress.

I think it's about time us PS4/XBone players start uploading videos.

I'll put some up when I get home tonight.

Also, Venus is pretty awesome.

The pistol isn't OP, you have to be really good to wield it. Most of them have really shallow clips(? lol). Miss a shot or two and you're fucked, and the reload takes forever. Auto rifles are still the best, IMO.

I don't like pulse rifles at all in PVP, seem to still take way too many shots, haven't fooled with scout rifles. I probably die to fusion rifles more than anything, don't recall ever being killed by one in the beta, lol.

got a solid 5 hours in for the first play last night, it's so nice getting equipment and knowing you can keep it till you're properly leveled ^_^. after the beta i still have some impulses to dismantle anything above lvl 8. time flies by playing this game, now i gotta work and i just wanna play more.

I hate auto rifles and am terrible with them.

Anyone else still have the first gun they give you? It's pretty unique so I stored it.

Yeah, stuck it in my vault immediately. Gonna hold onto it until I hit max level, then use it for the Crucible :P

Same for me.

One thing about the loot was I wish there was a way to improve armor and weapons you have as opposed to just replacing them. That first weapon is a good example as there isn't another one that looks like it.

It's just the earth strike at level 22. Nothing more to it.

Only place where you can actively farm for legendaries and exotics.
And there are 3 levels: 22, 24 and 28

And it is VERY HARD lol.....man, im level 20 and was getting one shotted. Much harder than any other strike or story mission where I was 2 levels behind.

A transmog system would help here.

Yeah that strike on the moon is the biggest 'gear check' to the face moment I had so far in this game.

Tried doing it at level 12
4 Knights with swords and 3 wizards were like "lol..no" before even getting the door open.

This is just making me realize how punishing the raid is going to be
Plus that ogre at the end, we just got over-whelmed, and that was with having a level 16 in there (granted he was a level 16 because he leveled through the crucible, so he didn't have the greatest gear)

My Guardian update

Almost all blue equipment? Where do you find this stuff?

I just went bacck to it at level 20 and did it without dying.

I felt bad ass!

I know right? I'm hoping the raid will be more of that, but better. I normally dislike gear checks but I guess since this a shooter, I welcome it.

For other folks, I recommending seeing how easy you kill Knights on Old Earth before doing this strike. It's kind of nuts.

I think the newfounded OP talk is just PvE. Handcannons are fucking ridiculous there, almost to a fault, as I am pretty much using other weapons out of varieties sake moreso than them actually being effective.

Scout rifles are solid in PvP and what I've mainly been using. You can beat AR users but your aim needs to be on point. And yeah, I see a lot of fusion rifles, they seem really good. But I still use the shotgun since it's so effective in close quarter areas of the map.

My thing about using handcannons in PvE is the reload time. I can't get over it since it takes forever and you only have so few bullets in the gun at a time.

The damage is nice, but any gun over 100 damage is going to get a one-shot headshot regardless.

game really seems to open up and level 20. equipping a shader and seeing your armor come together is awesome.

being able to finally get purple and yellow gear feels great. i still have a level 10 blue hand-cannon that i finally managed to fully upgrade so i cant imagine how long the purple and yellow gear will take.

also, titan plus shoulder charge in pvp is so much fucking fun. i havent been hit yet so i dont know what it looks like from the other side but i cant imagine people are too happy about being one hit killed by a sprinting titan. its like MW2 knife running lol.

I'll ask again since this topic moves so fast!

I have a couple of questions regarding male and female guardians and races. Do all male races have the same running animation while on the Tower?

Also, in terms of body armor/clothes, do they look the same on both male and female, or is the cut slightly different depending on the gender (for example Dark Souls)?

Yeah but nothing is cooler than a hand cannon

The ones that get a quick reload with a kill on the last bullet are really good in that instance. But yeah, you can get overwhelmed while reloading at times which is the main thing to be aware of.
