Sorry, didn't mean to imply that he is. I guess it totally reads like that. I just meant that if a character *IS* broken bad, then maybe custom moves can fix them.

Mega man is definitely not broken-bad, he's just in the tier of characters who has 1-3 useless special moves. His aerials are phenomenal. I played the demo for 3 hours last night, a good 40% of my time was with mega man. Love his running shot, his charge shot, and his aerials.

I gotcha. Glad we're both looking forward to playing him!

I'm worried he's going to turn out kind of like Zelda. Zelda has like three or four really good moves (not counting Down+B, lol) but the rest of her moveset is trash so you're going to find yourself relying on the same things over and over. There's only so many times you can use short hop Flame Sword before it gets super predictable.

Fair point. That is entirely possible... hopefully it won't come to pass.

I made this poll to help build hype and remind us of all the fun we've had with past Smash games, so hopefully you guys had fun; I definitely did seeing everyone's reactions to everything. I also wanted to give a big thank you to all of you. I lurked community for quite some time before joining NeoGAF back in May and being welcomed in by all of you has been a real treat. All this when we haven't even gotten to play the game we're obsessing over together yet! It's hard finding a sensible, well-spoken community for gaming online and, while we definitely delve into our fair share of madness and waifu-ing, I've come to like this place quite a bit. Hopefully post launch a lot of you will stick around, as it would be a shame for us to have talked to so much about Smash 4 to not get to experience it much together.

Well it's not like he does any of that in Warioware either. The worst thing he'd do is pick his nose, which is something he's done in Wario Land.

Smash doesn't really emphasize his waft except for the first trailer and his new trophy, and it's a move you rarely ever see considering how it works. Smash Wario mixes the bizarre and quirky nature of Warioware with his brute strength in Wario Land pretty nicely in his moveset.

True, I guess I've become bored with Wario just being a video game designer and no longer having much of a focus on adventuring for money nowadays. His origins feel a little forgotten. Especially the 'rival to Mario' part, but that's a whooole different story.
