That seems odd when the Crucible is unlocked at level 5 and the limit is 100 per week.
I guess it adds to the replayablility and end-game stuff!

Nope. I actually played against someone in a match who used it and he used it the same way on the same flag on the same map. Found that to be annoying. Stats and stuff might not matter on Crucible, but you sure can get an advantage through the upgrades and stuff in higher levels. He threw down a shield and I threw my knife and it bounced back. =l

Man, the non-control PVP is just boring. I never get why Deathmatch is even played anymore.

Activision has already been paid for all those unsold copies sitting on store shelves right now, and it was more than enough to recoup the budget of the game.

Oh man blade dancer is so sweet when you hit it just right. It's hard to get more than 1-2 kills most of the time but sometimes you end up just running into the right groups of enemies. And you can do cool shit like this.

I was getting slaughtered soloing Clash and Rumble.. but then I realised it's a more team based vibe than Control, when in a fireteam it will no doubt be a far more tactical buzz.
Skirmish is my favorite I think. Rumble is fine, especially when you don't have an actual team lol(and somewhat entertaining when you do). I definitely prefer Control to Clash though.
Edit: So no one for Dust Palace? =(

Actually feels like you need teamwork. I like that you can revive team mates.
Rumble is good, standard Free For All.
Clash is a little run of the mill, Control is quite good. Reminiscent of Domination from CoD, which was always my go to mode.

Oh man. Just redeemed a Rare Engram and got my first Legendary item, a helmet. Felt so damn good. This game has got its hooks in me good.

My first legendary is a 250 attack pulse rifle that dwarfs all the uncommon / rare versions i have seen. its sooo good

I was waiting 10 levels to get a Cydonia AR3, in 5 minutes I got one from a quest reward, one from a Golden chest
haha... both have different bonuses though, so will keep em both for PvP.I'm really liking the game, but I love first person shooters and I love getting loot, so that isn't much of a surprise. I'm also playing with two close friends and this is our first experience all playing together on a current gen console, so I'm sure that adds to the enjoyment factor. I'm still deciding what to think about the multiplayer, seems like a lot of fun at times, but I'm going to have to see how things balance out once more people are level capped. Not sure at this point if it'll get the same amount of playtime from me as Halo 2/3/Reach did.
The only big negative I have to say about the game is holy fuck its only been two days and I'm already sick of the menus. Why do I have to watch my spaceship fly for 30+ seconds every time I go anywhere or do anything. -__-

Vanguard armory weapons cap at level 10 (may be wrong).
Gonna see what these Moon patrols are like.

I found that moon strike with the chained up guy ridiculously hard at level 11. They throw a shitload of hard to kill enemies at you. I had to bail on the mission.

Titans shoulder charge is real dirty in pvp, it seems like a one hit kill and it has a good lunge on it.

Soft cap is 20. After that, you can gain levels by collecting gear that has "Light". Hard cap is 30.

I actually don't understand what Motes of Light (the item) have to do with Light (the stat). Light is what gets you past Level 20 -- right? Motes of Light just seem like currency to me.
