The new arrangements are pretty great. Tanaka rarely disappoints, and the Animal Crossing track is really lively. Not having that lead synth get horribly grating is an impressive feat.

He's probably new to Smash. Pair that with 3DS's wonky controls, and it's understandable. He's been a real trooper for us. I'll admin it's funny as fuck though.
