oh I know.
it was just the bolded blue section that threw me off. I think I see what they are doing lol. Basically making it known what my next bonus will be once Rank 2 is reached.
Gonna run Devils Lair once I get Rank 2 with the Fallen and eat a Seed and see how well that does. I can run all of Devils Lair in about 15 minutes at this point even with Randoms

Are there going to be more subclasses added in later? I don't understand what the second subclass box is for.

they took their inspiration from Battlefield 4, not having weapon equipment menus nor proper Battlelog in the game itself.
Mostly Strike drops, because you're guaranteed upgrades in the 18-24 "Vanguard" playlists that put you in random Strikes.
And yeah man, Dead Orbit all the way! It's gonna take some dedication to hit Rank 3.

A proper bestiary would be awesome to have. And give higher level monsters more accessories and not a different paint job.

After playing here for last couple of days I can say that I'm really enjoying this game. I love the patrol mode how you can just wander around and do little missions here and there-- I think PvP is really fun. One complaint I have is that I just wish there was some kind of matchmaking for story quests. I really like playing this game, especially the story missions, with other people. If none of my friends are online then I'm forced to try it by myself. I notice sometimes even if I do get instanced with other players, even if they aren't on patrol and are doing the same objective as me, they get instanced out of my world as soon as I enter the "no respawn" part of the map, then I'm all alone. This game is just a lot better playing with other people so I just wish they did a better job at matchmaking for story quests
Really? How come? I need some details, people have been feeding me the "game begins at end game" line and I want to know how true that is.

Yep, that's where the good loot is at.
Because even more so than any other RPG, you really do just do the same things over again... This time only for loot.
It's repetitive, but I enjoy doing the Bounties and splitting time between Strikes and Crucible runs.
Don't know what people were expecting.
We were expecting the game would "start" like everyone said it would.

Replaying the same old content you did to get to 20.
I though after hitting max level a couple more lvl 20 specific strike
would open up in the Reef and other planets to gear up for the raid.

A few questions about Gold Loot chests (spoiler your answers incase people want to be surprised 
)
- Do they re-appear, or are they only available once?
- Is it once per charachter you create or once only?
- Is the loot in them the same for every player?
- Does the loot scale with your ranking? (so maybe best to leave some till level 20?)

You used to be about to "Lock in" a subclass and then get a faster leveling duplicate. They took that out, but kept the extra slot, so hopefully we get another^^ There are three element types, but each guardian only gets two of the three, so there seems to be a nice opening for it^^ Hmmm... my guess is that it will be part of the "Comet" Expansion set for next fall (if their plans in the leaked court documents are still accurate).
Really enjoying the game. Level 9 on PS4 and Level 7 on Xbox 1. I got the triple play achievement last night with the golden gun. Wish I could show it from my clips on Xbox. Whats the odds. Three different classes with 3 shots. Also hit an amazing knife throw on a guy on top of a dome shooting at a teammate.
The matchmaking leaves something to be desired.. Meleeing a level 20 three times without a kill is not fun if you are a 6.
Still a very good game and I'm enjoying it.

I'll wait then. Just going around doing bounties to unlock more of my defender skills. Close to fully unlocking tier 2 skills.

Yeah. The gear/level disadvantage and the fact that you don't get any Crucible Marks* until a later level makes PvP at your level not really worth it.
And I actually made the mistake of overleveling by playing too much PvP, reaching level 20 during the first or second Venus mission. Not only does playing on hard made it so far just a bit more tedious rather than challenging, The Mission Rewards (when you get to pick one at the various NPC's in the Tower) don't scale with your level, so I've been getting vastly underleveled junk gear for quite some time now.
*And holy cow do those end game currencies seem like a grindfest.
That Heroic Strike sucks ass dude, the Fallen can kill you in like 1 hit, because it has a modifier where you take extra damage from Arc attacks.

I do not think the raid opens until next Tuesday. Implications before was a level 26 requirement (Soft cap of 20, plus strong gear), so they may be waiting until more people level up.

I wonder how much better the story aspect would have been received if the Tower had a library you could go into in order to read the unlocked Grimoire entries in game. It seems like a no-brainer, simple solution but for whatever reason companies seem to think second screen experiences are ideal when they're anything but. A second screen experience just means a crappier bloated user experience and a lot of users missing content they might otherwise enjoy.

Finished the game! Ending cutscene was pretty mediocre, which is a shame since the Venus cutscenes were pretty good (actual characters!). Love that gun they give you (I think it's the same gun for everybody, but in case it's not, I'm talking about the pulse rifle).

what's wrong with my game when it says i can't join parties etc because i don't have PS plus, even though i have it?
two nights in a row now i haven't been able to play the game much. just constant disconnects and this shit. one of the worst launches of a game i've experienced honestly (expected better from Bungie). which is a shame because from the little i've played it's actually pretty damn good.. would be nice to able to join a friend though, playing with randoms is not as fun.

Just played some Rumble for the play 5 matches bounty and holy shit I got taken apart.
Everyone seems to be higher levels in that. I could unload a clip at them and they still had time to turn around and kill me before I'd even taken their shield down.
It's a bit annoying because I've found I'm actually quite good at the other modes, posting 2+ k/d most matches and I'd like to play some competitive free for all where I'm not just getting pasted through no fault of my own.

this is the biggest issue for me. They need to fix the multiplayer.
I must have played for 8 hours straight yesterday, and really loved just about everything I played. It's a shame this game is being picked apart for not being this or that, while ignoring the fact the game is just a shit ton of fun. All of Destiny's "problems", are issues I've seen in just about every mmo/loot driven game I've played, with the difference being Destiny is actually fun outside the drive to collect more and more loot. And the pvp, which is something I didn't care about at all going in, is surprisingly really good and where I've spent a lot of time.
And playing on ps3 has been awesome as well. The visuals are still pretty good, and the best part is that it's always at 30 frames. For whatever reason, people have accepted playing games at 25 fps as long as it looks like The Last of Us or GTAV, which I think is bullshit.

Same here. I am only level 6 now and I just get owned. I just don't have hours and hours a day to play this game like the people that are already on level 20. It may be months before I reach level 20 which means I will be a disadvantage until then.
