I'm seeing it through to the bitter end. I want to be able to shit on DC from a great height without Harrier telling me that I've not read it. It might be the worst thing I've ever read, hyper decompressed and slooooooow, weird jumps in logic, awful art, boring, predictable twists (that two page spread with fifty Sue (ugh) and all the bother eye monitors was hilarious - they used two pages to tell us something we ALREADY KNEW hahahaha). Grifter was in Cadmus for what, 12 issues? What happened? Why is he even there?

Yes there are questions but they are the kinds of questions you get from a badly structured story.
 
Order showcase Captain Carrot, Showcase Shazam and Showcase Amethyst. And some manga. Was about to bite on Showcase Legion but searching for hardcover collections and color for that material.....

Awesome picks! Deadly Class is especially stellar IMO. Question though, why do you bag and board your trades as well? I always found that to be an odd practice, it kind of makes things look tacky if you keep your books on a shelf.

The other Tardi book is Goddamn This War! There's also the new Sacco book that came out last year just titled The Great War.
 
Eternal is fun, and I like the book to be set-up vehicle for the monthly books.. this week issue seemingly setting up Catwoman's new run status quo, pretty rad.

I don't, the store I order from does it to everything free of charge ;) The pic is seconds after taking the books out of the package.

Regarding Multiversity #1 - well, this definitely is a start of a Morrison storyline ;) I loved hwo the comic tried to screw with my head and am now a big fan of Captain Carrot. Cartoon Physics!

I'm a volume behind on that, catxhing up on some older series this month. New for me are Noragami, Terraformars and Seven Deadlt Sins. Usps is playing Battleship with my Seven Deadly Sins package. It has gone through every town around me like there is some sort of barrier of blindness around my house.....

In order to use
the lasso of truth to do comic book stuff to allow them to free the Justice League from being imprisoned inside the Firestorm matrix, they needed someone who had "a connection" to Diana. The options were Steve Trevor and Bruce. It was as vague as it sounds. Read into it what you will.

Not even comic book related: I picked up Destiny. Great gunplay. Worst, dollar bin sci fi fan fiction story ever. It is to me what New 52 must be like to Jedeye.

They gave up making Halo to make Halo with a worse story for Activision. Haha.

The game controls completely different compared to Halo. Level structure is different as well.

Level structure is: cross empty wasteland to get to Firefight map. Get bored. Go back to loading screen/orbit.

Check out Regular Show: Hydration you butts. Finally got a chance to read it today as some have sneaked into the UK. Its so good.
 
From my reads last night:

Avengers #34.1 was surprisingly great. May be my favorite of the week, although I have a few left to read. Deadpool #34 was dark and brilliant for it. Same applies with Magneto, but that has been par for course thus far.

Ms. Marvel #8 has been the most entertaining read, especially with my appreciation for Lockjaw. Hawkeye was disappointing and I think I'm ready to say goodbye to the series when it ends in the near future. It's nowhere the heights it used be at, but still a serviceable read. The same can be applied for Caliban; I think there is one issue left, so I'm ready for it to be done, too. As for Avengers Undercover, the ending was weak and left on a low note. It's ending was flat and I hope the characters are utilized again in the near future. Both Spider-man issues I read (Amazing Spider-Man #6 and Edge of Spider-Verse #1) were both fine and I look forward to the next plot advancements, especially the latter.

I still need to read: Dark Ages #2, Batman Futures End #1, Death Vigil #3, Walking Dead #131, Nightcrawler #6, Annihilator #1, and Wild's End #1. I'm not expecting much from any of them besides Annihilator and Wild's End. I hope they both impress me and my gf so we can add them to our list. I don't have high hopes for Death Vigil and Dark Ages, both are in the lower half of my reads when it comes to entertainment or quality features (art, story, etc.).

It won't be a romance angle this time I guess. Maybe early on in his training Bruce will have stumbled upon or visited the Amazon island and must have struck a friendship with Diana while training with her or must have liked her but she was like "bruce pls, ur lyk mah bro" and thus Bruce became an unloving bat-slut.
 
Why is everyone in this thread either super short or monstrously large? 6'0" 180lb masterclass represent.

edit - I always imagined Messi was super dainty...
