That's another thing, I hear a lot of talk about Dead Ghosts like they're scattered collectibles- I don't know if I've found a single one. Do you have to do something in particular to collect them?

Just gotta find em, they glow blue, then you interact with them like everything else and it unlocks a grimoire card. Some are harder to find than others. There are even a couple in the Tower.

The engram has the armor design so I'm hoping for an armor.

My first was a special weapon and it gave me materials =( I have a chest now but still no weapons which I'd like x.x

They're littered across the environment. Not sure if they're in random locations each time you start a new mission or the same places all game. For example, I found a few in random lockers/abandoned planes in Old Russia. To collect them, just walk up to them and hit X or square.

This would only work with primary weapons though, right? Doesn't your secondary and heavy ammo still reset to zero when changing weapons?

In PvP, you lose all the ammo for changing special and heavy weapons. In PvE, you only lose half.

After doing countless strikes (I'm lvl24) I can safely say the loot is just shitty, better off pvping and usually get two pieces of gear per game and worthy stuff. And seriously, no ingame clan tab with the actual roster? What were they thinking.

I've done the same 3 or 4 strikes so many times I'm kinda burned out. Every game us repetitive but this needed a lot more of everything.

yea the strike loot is very lacking. pvp on the other hand gives you rewards almost every game when you hit level 20.

You get it as mission/boss rewards sometimes too, but 80 is a hell of a lot to be sure.

They're hard to see, some of them are near impossible to see until you walk up to them (found one in tall grass). They look like little blue lights from afar.

They also give off a faint sound when you're near.

I figured these were some:

Weapons are scaled back
Weapon bonuses are disabled
Class bonuses are disabled/truncated

Is HP normalized between classes?

Weapons damage and armor gear are set to a standard amount. The bonuses like reload speed after kill for example still matter.

starting to see why bungie didn't give raids matchmaking. the high level strikes are brutal. if you aren't working well together calling everything out, from your respawn timer and ammo count to the enemy location and even the angle of the fucking sun, you're going to get your ass handed to you.

I had 2 pop up within 20 minutes when I was replaying an earth mission while level 9. I wonder if they're more likely to appear when there's 1 overleveled person on the server. I had to finish out the last wave--everyone else was level 4 and insta-dying.

Hmm, well do patrol missions in Earth reward the same 10 rep points as on other planets? Not much to do on Earth when you're so high level.

So, being colorblind I think I'll focus on Fire weapons.

There is no way I'm going to be able to discern the difference between blue and purple shields in the heat of battle.

It's really hard to keep up with this thread and given the extremely helpful nature of DestinyGAF, this has probably been addressed but as of right now...

Fallen = blue/arc
Hive = red/solar
Vex = purple/void

Off the top of my head, I can't remember what kind of shields Cabal have.
