Nope, the game is a very fluid experience when it comes to this.
When you select a mission, the game even starts you in the "overworld" first and only once you go to a specific place and pass a zone boundary will you enter a "darkness zone" which is your own little instance just for you where things can happen that can't happen outside, like doors opening and things exploding.
It's basically phasing. The entire game is a very very clever and completely seamless game of phasing and instancing.
Ever wonder why when you stay in say "The Steppes" and your friend goes to "The Mothyard" you can see his marker but not him? Cause he just entered a different instance to you. Once you enter it to, your friend will have a little "teleport in" animation and there he is.

This is a revelation
Been asking about this stuff for seemingly forever so I had zero idea about any scaling or balancing (outside of scaling difficulty up for tackling missions with a full fire team as opposed to running solo). This is all great stuff.It has a damage upgrade that will take it to the second number.
I won't play it on my own and have to play it with my friend every time he's on in fear of missing out when he does the story missions or levels up, if I'm left behind it means I have to grind single player to catch up.
My only big complaint, I know the game has design flaws but it's really fun in co-op but I hate being forced into it and have to constantly keep up with my co-op partners.
I think it's fine as it is, though I'd love a motion tracker off mode.

So I just did the last Venus mission and FINALLY people accepted my requests and I did it with two other people. So much fun. A shame this was the first time, and might be the last time, it happens.

Whats the best way to go about adding people to PSN? Do I have to manually type in every single person on the pad or can I do it from Playstation's website? I'm still waiting on a clan invite so my friend list is completely empty.

Skirmish is an order of magnitude better than the other modes, though. The sense of teamwork and strategy is so much stronger. That can be achieved with a party of six in Control, but it's just harder to coordinate.

It could do with some extra game modes or something. Also what's up with Mercury being only available on 6 player game modes. That's a really cool setting but you can only play it in certain modes? That's really bugging me. I want some strike missions or 6v6 maps for Mercury at least, but I'd love a patrol map too. Guessing that's DLC for the future, but right now it feels like I'm having a carrot dangled in my face. It's the only thing genuinely bugging me so far.

I'm guessing I should stop asking for help from Bungie, Bungie Support, Destiny The Game, and Activision Support on Twitter. I've received no response from any of them on my Expansion Pass not being included with my PS4 Ghost Edition. The website I had to fill out an automated form on (which doesn't include the option of your code being missing as an option) hasn't responded either. The only person to even respond from Bungie/Activision has been Urk and he was the one who said to fill out the form.

It's not an Amazon issue. They weren't the ones who put the inserts in the game case. My only option with them is to return it for a refund which I'll be doing if I don't get a code.
Reputation allows you to buy the items, marks are what you use to buy then.
Yeah, but they're pretty good with that. I'd at least see what a rep says about being partially compensated for the cost of the pass.

Love the Titan, even if his super seems like the quickest and most efficient way to commit suicide when fighting tougher enemies. Nothing more demoralizing than pulling a ground clearing move only to see, once all the dust has cleared, that all your enemies are still walking, and bringing the one-hit-sword of doom down upon your skull.
That has happened a few too many times and now, even though armored to the hilt, I'm a lot more hesitant to use it on anything besides groups of regular fodder. No go for anything that could potentially one-shot me.
