Anyone know what the gunslinger bounty is? Can't seem to figure out what to do I curicble for it

Haven't got a medal for it yet, but someone on bungie forums said you get it when getting a kill immediately after switching weapons. I may need to use my shotgun for it.

Also |OT3|, Can we go to the Tower?

I'm not particularly good at PvP, tried out the new Salvage mode and won by a fairly narrow margin, apparently one of the guys on the other team didnt take too well to it

"I could tell you about all this stuff that would give you context for what's happening around you; stuff you wouldn't know because you've apparently been dead for a long time. I could tell you about the history behind this entire conflict...but I'm not going to."

I'm still scratching my head over why that scene was written that way.

That scene and the cheesy "we must stop The Darkness" stuff is just awful.
OK, stop the darkness, fine. So what is this The Darkness then?
And lets not mention the races. Apparently you know the whole story yet you won't tell the poor robot dudes and emos where they came from?

My head-canon is saying that the lack of explanation is because we are the bad guys.
I've spent my time stealing some old space ship, unleasing a horde of undead demons that the natives spent a lot of time locking up, and now I'm just breaking and entering to steal a bunch of technology, and prison breaking for another horde of demons.

And I'm doing it all so I can steal their shit and convert it into bigger guns. I haven't seen a single Darkness yet.
Vandals are to Destiny what brown-skinned people are to CoD.

Other than the plot, I'm having a great time though :)

Went on a 10 spree in Salvage. Hell yeah. Pounding the shit out of people who don't understand how Ward of Dawn works is the absolute best :D

And on a less fun note, finding a Legendary Primary Weapon Engram and getting a rare weapon out of it is an absolute kick in the balls.

I had fun yesterday playing with GAFfers on PS3. We are not many playing this on PS3. If you read this feel free to send me a friend request. My username is in my profile.

We had a really good PS4 Crucible group going on last night. people sticking together, going for points and calling out enemies. Worked out really really well.

I got myself a shotgun and an AR for Control matches now so I'll be a lot more effective in close combat.

Hey guys why does the weekly heroic strike not pair me with anyone? I always go solo, yet the strike playlist works fine but for some reason I keep getting the Venus strike.

I think it's pretty amazing. What don't you like about it?

It feels like there's a half second or so of lag before registering hits. Matchmaking is slow and keeps teaming me up with people less than level 10 against full teams of people in the mid twenties. And I really hate that mortar speeder thing.

Can anyone explain to me how the levelling system works? This is what I found out so far:

- You get XP.
- When you reach level 20, you wont 'level up' anymore. But you can still spend XP to upgrade abilities and weapon-perks?
- When doing Vanguard of Crucible stuff you'll receive Rep. Rep will upgrade your Vanguard / Crucible level?
- When level 18+; you can also receive marks: Crucible marks, Vanguard marks. You can trade them for specific gear?

But how does the Light stuff work? Im a bit confused.

Probably a dumb question but why are the story missions still available after I beat them? Just for grins or to try at a harder difficulty?

Doing them again for fun, with higher diff and of course they will become heroic as dailies from time to time. Also some bounties want you to do story missions.

Even though i don't like the insult that guy is throwing, i love these kind of reactions from other players, i never get them though. Guess i'm not good enough. :(

God it's such a shame all the story and lore is hidden away in these grimoire cards, there's some neat stuff here.

Bad idea bear

I like the Grimoire cards cause it gives me stuff to read at work.

I don't like that a lot of this stuff really should be in game as proper exposition :(

This game has got its hooks in me something fierce.

Its brilliant minus the story. just finished the last moon story mission and gonna do the strike tonight.

Found my first rare armour and warlock bond.
Changed my ship to the most expensive one so i can laugh at all the peon ships.

Love the public events, done 3 of them now, devil walker and 2 protect the whatever its called.

love it when a dropship flys over and as soon as they all jump out you obliterate them with one nova bomb.

Ok, all the Light Armor you will have to acquire during Crucibles, Story mode, and Strikes.

Mainly, Crucibles but you will have to upgrade that armor as you use it. They will have Light/Intelligent in description.

You'll truly know you in the right direction when your LVL 20 glows yellow.

Hope this helped.

Hahaha that's exactly what i'm doing right now.

It really should have been in game, none of this "I COULD tell you about this amazing story but I wont"

Man I would have loved Destiny's story to take place during the travellers arrival, the time of transition and so on. Love stuff like that.

Ah, thanks :) Someone should put that in the OP :)

In one night the fusion rifle has worked its way to one of my favorite weapons in competitive multiplayer. The hate mail I got tonight is ridiculous.

Game seems to work fine before it hits noon here, but as soon as the clock strikes 12 I get centipede again. Definitely not an internet issue, this is on Bungie.
