Yeah but it's not like you can't remedy that. All of us in here are playing =p

Dunno, just from personal experience I would rather not do that strike than do it without communication and knowing the people I'm with are solid haha. Vanguard playlist stuff is fine, it's just level scaled. This is a different level, and having someone that's bad or that drops out means massively wasted time.
 
For in game content and raid/strike prep, is glimmer needed? I know it will be smart for people to buy consumables but are the best ones bought with glimmer or modes of light/strange coins?

The super makes it so everything you kill drops at least 1 glowing orb. I think it boosts your stats too, but I never noticed. Also it reduces the grenade cooldown so you can spam them as long as you have meter.

I stumbled upon this area last night searching for Vex kills for bounty.

Wow, what a shit show, It was non-stop enemies until they got too strong for me to handle.

There was one or two green drops after about 15 minutes of fighting. I'm only a level 15 so not expecting any blues/purples anyway.

I'll go back there when I hit 18.
 
I wonder can you get the cloak
the queens brother
has at some point, a lot of the NPC's have much cooler looking gear than anything I've seen on players so far.

i finally got the Shingen-C last night. Level 12 uncommon. Loved it during the beta. Not sure it can replace my hand cannon though. Thing is a headshot monster.
 
Can somebody explain to me some If vanguard stuff ?

On thé site preorder show a dozen If weapon and ONE Helmet per class. I see just 5 weapon as i am. Are some weapon class spécific? I want my rocket launcher as titan :(

The daily heroic mission is The Last Array? BAHAHAH. That will be super fast.

Gonna farm the hell out of that when I get home. Hope to get some quality rare armor and get rid of this uncommon suit I have going
 
Also, do you get any endgame gear from PvP? Because I've mostly been running strikes and the story missions since the game came out. I've already hit max level, so now I'm grinding for endgame gear.

Wow. They really didn't hit a home run with this story so far. The MP structure hurt it something fierce.

If it's a daily, that means you can only do it once right?

I did the daily but never returned. I thought it would be like a MMO daily. Once you're done, you go back tomorrow. Didn't think to farm it.

Everything I've seen online suggests that the PS4 exclusive content drops from the Mars strike. But I don't know if that includes the ship and ghost skins, because I've never seen that stuff drop as loot. I'm pretty irritated that they couldn't be bothered to explain where the bonus content is.

That misquote makes it sound more stupid than it actually is lol. I believe it was "I don't even have the time to explain why I don't have time to explain"

Yours makes it sound like "People die if they are killed" =p

Ha, I figured I got it wrong. Still dumb though.

Although the little interaction with her and the ghost was neat. At least it showed some personality that the game is lacking in.

Yes, and do it on that difficulty the first time because you only get one chance =( I expected it to be like the strike where you get the rewards for each difficulty, but the story appears to only give rewards once, regardless of difficulty.

Yeah, I want to delve more into her story and what's going on there... The game's story ends where it feels like it's opening up to me lol.

So, had some great fun running with a GAF squad last night. The high point? Arc-blade meleeing 5 enemies in a span of 3 seconds (thanks for being in the narrow tunnel for me :P).

How can I tell when I'll be able to unlock certain things in my subclass skill tree? Like it seems so arbitrary when everything starts to unlock.

Well from what I heard PvP dishes out some pretty good gear. Strikes are also another way to get some really good gear. What type of gear do you mostly have now?

Yep. How can you hope that in 6 hours of gameplay, not one person out of 6 will die? It should've been just you, not your whole fire team.

Nah each day the mission changes. When it is that missions run at the Daily Heroic status it just means at lv. 20 you can go up to Heroic difficulty. It can be run as many times as you like.

Yeah, I was the same way and disappointed. Everyone looked cooler than me. I even got a sash-like thing and it still looked weird.

Then I got my first shader. I don't know about you, but I really dig how my Warlock looks now.

This. There's more personality in that mission and the two Reef cutscenes than the rest of the game combined.

This is something the game does well, at the endgame, high level stuff you can choose to focus on pvp. Join a faction of your liking (look at their gear and stuff) and you can just grind in pvp and get sweet shit.

I got the ghost skins and ship somewhere in the tower, but i don't remember where, unfortunately.

Hopefully you won't get a green/blue. Or another class item if it's gear... Or mats if it's a weapon.....

I have 3 of 4 pieces to make a legendary titan gear set and only one piece for my hunter -.-
