Destiny |OT2| The Last Guardians

I don't see how it's meaningfully different from the other supers. It's all a matter of timing and opportunity. You are still vulnerable to damage, and need to chase down and kill one enemy at a time. If you activate it on a control point with 4 enemies, how is it better than a Titan groundslamming everyone to instadeath in one move?

activating in time to get a cluster of enemies is fine. I just don't like how you can travel so far while the bar drains.

It only makes me more excited for Destiny 2 tbh. Even with the formula they have now, the game is fun as heck. There is so much that can be improved upon in future titles.

So how hard is it to get the armour or weapons that have engravings etc on them? The royal looking ones that are mostly gold, white etc.

But that's the thing, you can just as easily activate it and not get any kills since you can't find an enemy in time, or get picked off by someone from a distance. That gif is just the perfect situation for the ability, it's not really what happens every time.

Titan as of now

and the 2 Legendary weapons I got today

Just need 3 more strange coins to get the exotic gauntlets now

Where do you guys find the legendary stuff/engrams? Pvp?

And are you doing the public events to get thr strange coins? I have no idea how to get them.. is that exotic dealing vendor available now?

So many questions haha

maybe the story was shit and he knew it was his fault so he bailed before the game came out and the whole world fonud out?

Let's not make assumptions like this

I should have stated "possibly a reason?". I know we can't know for sure but I can't imagine anyone creating a story and watching it get thrown off to the sidelines and being happy about it.

I mean with all that said I'm happy with the game from a gameplay perspective. It's quite fun, so no problems there. Just disappointed in the SP/story aspect.

Yeah. And that's more often the case.

I've had Bladedancer unlocked for a couple of days now and the opportunities to get four or five kills are slim. It's not easy to do so (even when the opportunities present themselves) as you have to get in real close and are not invulnerable.

Sheesh. I thought I was posting a fun gif.

This is basically what makes it not horrible, especially for any PvE usage. You understand you don't have any access to your guns when doing it, right? You have to decide when to use it and then make the most of it once you have. If no enemies are nearby at least you can clear a lot of ground.

What you see in that gif is rare, takes skill and is incredibly satisfying. If the second person had a shotgun equipped and was a little more on the money, it would have been a very different sort of clip.

I was soooo stoked when I pulled that gif off.

Destiny 2 is gonna happen

and it's gonna probably be totes cool

The core gameplay is soooo good. The story and mission structure suffers from the same issues Dragon Age: Origins did, imo. A story that makes absolutely no sense when you step back and look at it as a whole, because the devs are trying to introduce you to a whole new world, it's locations, races, cultures, enemies, etc, in the span of one game. The core mechanics and setting are fantastic though.

Here's hoping Destiny 2 isn't like Dragon Age 2 =P

You were. I can't imagine how anyone can watch a titan/warlock drop a quick-casting super on 4 people, killing them all with it whilst criticizing what you posted.

Comin' at you bro. I've got half an hour free, sure we can nail it in that time.

That was harder than I expected. Dat bonus arc damage! Jesus.

Maybe after some more light levels lol

Everybody seems to be near endgame or beyond the moon. I'm still on the moon!

Enjoy it, the moon is sweet and everything after is too. Venus really reminds me of Metroid Prime, right down to the music.

Such a great game.

got the rocket launcher in a strike mission, and the sniper by lvling the cryptarch. Coins I've been getting from PVP and Strikes. Yeah he's available by the crucible quartermaster.

It's very unusual because you could tell that a lot of time was spent on building this big, great universe only for the ball to be dropped in the actual storytelling. You'd think that someone at the team with basic writing ability would look at the output and say: "guys, what are we doing?" It really feels like a waste of their world when they tell their story like this.

Bladedancer is fun as hell.. but honestly it's probably the worst of all the Supers. It's 100% useless for PvE bosses and the lack of health regen/armor makes it easy to die while you're running toward the enemy to kill them in PvP. Shotguns of course just own you. Cant tell you how many times I've traded kills with a shotgun user or that just flat out kill me before i can use my blade on them.

I'll be level 20 in a few only did the first moon mission. if anyone wants to help make a fire team and start mission/strike send me a request on psn

I'm reserving judgement until I can fully level it and unlock Blink to boot. That might change things and make it more in line with the others. Definitely not OP.

Can someone explain the story to me?

You start out fighting the Darkness then I don't know robots and oh shit space mercenaries but we gotta stop the robots and wait was there something about a darkness?

Did I understand it correctly?

Is there an issues with achievements on xbox one with Destiny? Hit the max weekly crucible score and no achievement. And I'm pretty sure I've decrypted 25 engrams by now and didn't get that either.

The robots might be the darkness or not or maybe? Or the darkness is just everyone that isn't a human, good robot or good smurf and the other smurfs are neutral and don't care about darkness or light and live in an area designed for 2 cutscenes.
