So, I played a Strike mission and 5 PVP matches yesterday.

This game...is awesome. Best co-op I've had in years. Story is a mess, but the multiplayer is really fun.

NO wipes but a LOT of close calls. Have to admit though as a Titan, striker I feel pretty useless on these encounters.... :(

Watching Eurogamer do this Strike right now and it's been pretty rough going for them haha Still, seems like they're all having fun with it, which happens to be the point :)

Only lvl 11 myself but as it is Friday I'll finally be able to settle in for a few hours tonight and tomorrow. Will also finally get in some PvP tonight as well.

Still grinding things out solo however as I don't really want to play with others in PvE-- friends or otherwise-- until I can sort out my mic chat issue w/ my Pulse Elites. Neither friends on my fire team can hear me or vice versa :\
 
kinda random question but does anybody remember the video about Destiny (yes that's all the info I can give lol) where they showed a bunch of stuff....and along that stuff was a short clip of the dude playing popping open some special loot chest and like 5+ engrams (also gold ones) bounced out of that shit? I need to see it again.
 
I just went into the weekly strike. Party was Bladedancer Hunter, Sunsigner Warlock and Voidwalker Warlock. Couldn't even get past the first encounter. Holy shit this stuff is hard. Any tips moving forward?
 
Getting kinda tired of playing alone... Eurogaf here, I'm on PS4, need some gaf bros and sis to space jam.

Mixing and matching some armor lead me to the following numbers for post 20 levels:

Level 21: 2 Light
Level 22: 32 Light
Level 23: Greater than 40 but probably less than 54 (thanks Beaulieu!)



Ditto. Been stuck there for a little bit. Gotten quite a few rare items, but none of them have been of use to me.

If you hover over the Light number on your character screen it tells you what you need for the next level.

Light 16 for lv 21
 
Does the daily story missions ever reward you with something? Ive done all the daily ones so far and I have not gotten rewarded with anything.

It was a great idea at the time due to the very restrictive member limit. All the groups filled up like spreading wildfire, region based groups seemed like the most logical choice. Easy to find local people who would likely be playing at similar times to yourself. Mods that would be awake at appropriate times. Events could be planned in the proper time zone. I think they just need to re-consolidate. People from the numbered regions need to try and squeeze back down into the more primary groups. We have more groups now than are necessary but people went back to the same groups they were in during the beta.

There are 39 PS4 in NAWEST and another 17 in NAWEST2 and 38 more in NAWEST3. We have three groups when we only have enough members for 1 and a half. And that's not including all the people who crammed into the main DGAF header for some reason.

What is even the point of being in a group, honestly. I'm in the SA clan. It's 100% dead. I'd prefer a PS3 group, at least. The "forums" in Bungie.net are unreadable crap, anyway.

Yeah, I feel it's stupid that it's easier to get Exotics by grinding PVP than by doing PvE. Especially when someone who did noticeably bad in PvP gets an exotic. I feel for you.

You usually get vanguard marks, and I believe they have higher chances of engraved drops but I'm not too sure on that...

Can you only do the weekly strike once per week? Farming strange coins would be great.

Yeah I tried using my pve pulse rifle in pvp and I'm ashamed to admit that it was not just once that I got killed despite getting the jump on them. By the time you get three bursts on them they have plenty of time to laser your forehead.
 
^^don't send someone on a suicide mission lol. not everyone is level 35

Pick a mission and put it on hard mode. More elites/majors to kill.
