Engrams should drop their colour with a rare chance of dropping something above with 0% chance at anything below. Sucks so much getting a legendary engram only to have it be a blue that is way worse than what you have.

I doubt they'd ban anyone for farming, pretty sure that's pretty common and expected behavior.
Fighting the same group of enemies and then killing yourself to reset them is expected behavior? Somehow I doubt that.

Not saying I think players should be banned, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some techniques become impossible with subsequent patches.

The encoded rate for engrams is probably like 50% chance of a tier below that engram, 25% of it actually being the same rarity, and 25% for other items >_>

How does the stats armour recovery and speed affect crucible. Obviously everyone has the same HP and weapon damage but if you stack speed I notice you move abit faster? They also don't seem to make Much difference in pve.

I've been waiting to see the rates of Armor and Recovery but I know speed/agility is definitely present and a factor.

lol wtf

no way

...hmmm
Ok you knowing when he first comes out of the door?
When looking straight at it go to the left side.

Then keep heading straight up the bottom part of it. You will reach a ramp that goes down before hitting the ramps that go to the upper area. You can hide underneath that ramp and pop shot him for quite awhile. As long as you go under the ramp when he either shoots you or rockets you. No enemies can get at you. So you just stay under there while he's by that door.

You will have to get out if he moves to the opposite side.

I feel that with my luck it has been 100% for something in a lower tier lol.

Duder on reddit got the thorn

yeah, but very little

Depends on your weapon, my current lvl 20 primary needs 5000 glitter for all upgrades.

Will I find myself wanting other players at any point during the main story missions? I'm kind of soloing them, as I did in the Halo games, and I've had no issues as yet. But it's pretty early going.

As long as your level matches up with the recommended it's fine. The moment you're over level, normal is pretty easy.

I've heard the story missions get tough later on, but every time I play with others doing story missions I've had a great time.

Still on the moon!

I really love this game now. I played some Crucible, Strikes, and missions with friends, and even though we got slaughtered (played a 12 Strike at 9 hahahahaah), it was a rollicking good time. I don't care what is blocked off or that the missions are samey; this game kicks all kinds of ass. The updates and expansions packs are just icing. (I had my best games in Crucible today, too. I love playing with friends with chat-- it makes all the difference.)

I know it's not perfect, that's not what I am saying, but Bungie did an awesome job with this game.

I solo'd every mission through the Moon (all on Hard) but haven't gone further yet with missions. They can be difficult but the good kind where when you die, you know it was a mistake you made and not being overwhelmed with impossible odds. Mileage may vary depending on personal skill though. I don't think I'm anywhere near a truly great FPS player but I haven't had any pound-my-head-on-the-table difficult moments yet.

Should I stay with this?

Silvered Hushwind is the way to go imo. But I can't tell if that Shingen will get more stability and impact from the improvements.

I soloed the whole thing and it wasn't particularly difficult. If you stop off for a bit of MP along the way you will level up quickly too so you can avoid having to grind the old story missions if you do get stuck on one.

only reason i don't upgrade my rares like i want to is because already see how hard the materials are to come by

I've got 9k right now and I still somehow feel that money is tight. Understand my struggle.
9k? Pfffftt I have 99 glimmer right now.

Weapons parts are so hard to come by.

Burst firing/semi-auto is so useless in this game. I have a scout and a pulse...disgusting rate of fire=crappy dps.
If I don't have a legendary AR or HG...there is no point in using any primary guns without the automatic modifier.

When you die from a later wave of an enemy horde and are sent all the way back to the beginning of a dark area you just might ;p

In a perfect world the best farming spots would be in instances - otherwise it just makes those areas off limits for other players running patrol missions as they'll just be camped by high level players.

Don't even know why grey enemies drop items at all really.

Yes but not for difficulty reasons. The repeating structure is soul destroying solo after a while.

Soloing Hard story missions is a good way to learn the enemy types, variations, AI quirks, risk vs. reward with weapons/class abilities, and so on. I honestly recommend it for some, even if playing with others is always more fun.

Keep getting disconnected during the moon strike...

BTW, does anyone else feel the RPG aspect to this game is kind of pointless? At level 10 and I don't feel any stronger than I did at the start of the game since the enemies level up along with you. I just look different and I have slightly different looking weapons.

I find pulse rifles only good in PvE, the kick on the gun ruins long range damage and when you get to medium range there is a ton of other weapon choices to use which are better, auto rifles and pistols mostly.

It's pretty BS to have a Legendary Engram drop and potentially get an Uncommon or a Rare, like seriously. v_v

I don't even like upgrading stuff if I know I'm not going to have it around for a while lol

Last thing I invested in was my rare hand cannon and that was for it's explosive rounds. Yes, it was worth it and more.

I managed to solo the vast majority of the game. That said thanks to doing the Strikes with groups a few times and playing multiplayer I was generally always a higher level than I needed for the mission so that made things easier!

Get the Galahad-E with the "slower ROF when aimed but more damage" bonus. If you can aim at people's heads, you'll be wrecking for days. Keep a shotgun + melee on secondary for close-quarters.

About to start Venus. Down to PvP or PvE with anybody who wants to do any content Venus or prior. If you're before that we can just do it on hard.

Please have mic. PSN is crophonso. PS4

Holy shit that weekly strike made me feel like a rookie all over again.

Got awhile before I can hit that up and by then they will move it to the even worse Moon strike no doubt

this is kinda funny. played Salvage, everyone on the other team either quit or got dropped. and I got a Legendary item for basically showing up, gotta love it.

I don't think anyone running patrols in that bowl will have to worry about farmers. I guarantee that video was taken after a couple of "event wars" where there are more than enough baddies to go around.
