So just did that Venus loot thing and got myself some dank legendary boots. The cryptarch also gave me another legendary engram for leveling up but I was sorely disappointed to see it was just a rare hand cannon

In other news I'm pretty close to getting myself some exotic gauntlets. Anyone know how to get more coins?

Happened to me too just earler tonight. I ended up restarting my router and it stopped. I tried port forwarding and all but it didn't change. I also looked up the "Lion" and "Fly" error codes on Bungie's webpage and all I got was a page saying that they were looking into the issue which is a "general networking error" or something.

I'm guessing it's as much Destiny's servers that are the problem as it could be something else like one's own network setup.

As much as I like the campaign/co-op structure, the multiplayer modes are just dumb. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Control (a.k.a. Domination) and a weekend mode where nobody seems to do much besides run around and shoot people. Where the hell is the equivalent of CTF or Assault?

Can pump 3 bursts of a pulse rifle into someone charging right at me, and boom i'm down in one shot from a shot gun? I take out a shotgun, and no one is going down in one shot even at point blank. So wtf, how does gear work out in PVP?

It's just really annoying how many shots it takes to put someone down yet constantly getting one shotted by various attacks.

It's annoying as hell. I wish I could understand the reasoning behind allowing that to happen. Just make the drop rate for legendaries even lower instead of having them give you something below it. I don't mind strange coins or ascendant materials because those are useful, but getting a rare out of it is frustrating.

I'm off to bed now after finally hitting level 20 on my Titan. I've got 7 light so not yet enough to join the frabjous ranks of the above-caps.

I've been having a hard time doing the Venus story missions since randoms seem to not wanna cooperate and just run around aimlessly instead of following objectives. It sucks that I can't interact with them. I suppose I could lower the level so I could solo them but with such few missions it'd be criminal to cheat myself off a good coop challenge.

There are no level advantages to weapons or gear outside of Iron Banner. So just use whatever has the right balance of recoil, range, reload speed, etc. for you.

Woohoo! I completed the weekly heroic strike with Roe Bear and Somnium! As a Hunter, I found the Stalker skill to be super useful. Being able to turn invisible and revive teammates without fear of getting killed is amazing, especially since there isn't an auto revive timer in the weekly heroic.

No. not nearly to that extent.

I can't really recommend pulse rifle for pvp, try a hand cannon if you can get headshots, an AR, or shotgun and just stick with it a bit.

I've been a level 21 for three days of Crucible matches and not gotten anything legendary. I have gotten two blue rares out of legendary engrams though. So frustrating.
