My first blue weapon, not a fan of hand cannons but this one has 11 shots.

Yeah after finishing the main scope of the game and hitting 20+1 -- Am a bit disappoint with the content. Especially that shitty second half of the story and all the bosses being bullet sponges.
PvP is still a blast, and there's the raids and strikes to look forward to still.
I just wish there was more to do. There's no real point to go back to to anyplace but mars for patrols unless I want to help friends, outside of the strikes.
I don't regret buying the bundle and got a good time and a decent amount of hours out of it, but fuck. They could have easily done a lot more.

I believe the just a star ones are ones you need to finish but I'm not certain.

So the final boss of Devils' Lair is not much fun. Bullet sponge, too many Captains...I don't know. Maybe it's because we're at the suggested level instead of way out leveling it.
I just got the triple play trophy in possibly the most stupid way imaginable.
Basically I am on blind watch playing control. The 3 guys are on B and I have my super ready. I rush to the door, and I miss them completely and hit the edge of the door with my nova bomb.
They kill me and my teammate runs past them...
They all chase him through the vortex created by the nova bomb... and the AOE field killed all three of them..
Just wow.

My very brief bullet point thoughts. I am still level 14 and unfinished. I posted these in both threads.
0) the game is very pretty on PS4, not the best graphics on PS4 but Looks great.
1). I love the story and the missions. It is a lot of fun to join up with other gamers and take on the fallen. The gunplay is fantastic. And the enemy has good AI.
2) The Crucible PvP is awful only because it is not balanced. I hate that because I don't have as much time to power grind as other people and then I am at a sometimes severe disadvantage. It's not fun, but it could be if it felt like a fair fight.
3) I am not a fan of huge bullet sponge bosses in FPS games. Not sure why Bungie would introduce so many of them.
4) I don't like that I have to take time off from the main story to power grind to raise my level. It just feels strange. I wish they could include a few difficulty levels so that you can finish the story missions without taking time off to power level... I don't like that aspect and it contradicts what Bungie said about the game before it can out.
5)?Generally I really like the game, sometimes even more than Halo, but it could use a lot of fine tuning and maybe more...

I was afk and I have my character dance over the ledge in the tower. 2 tried to do the same thing and ended up falling to their deaths lol.
A good evening's looting with various gaffers. Def up to 600, motes up to 5, light level almost 21. No legendary/exotic gear yet, but me, daraman and apo....apo.....apofroff?(whoops!) did farm blues for a while and get some neat stuff. I take back what I said about the shingen, the one I have now is wondrous.
Shame some gaffers seem to have fireteam exclusion on so random gaffers can't fill gaps, seems counterproductive but whatever. Enjoy the rest of your night Admiral Woofington! This old dog's gotta sleep!

Generally, the missions go by path. At least for the first two worlds.
I pretty much dismantle everything I don't plan on wearing, lol
Just got this from PvP.
why does it say beta build?
Yes IMO, since stats don't matter in PvP and only weapon types are important. Even if you find a green Shingen-C auto-rifle, you save it since it's overpowered.

Holy shit my 2nd character can immediately move to the Subclass. That's badass. Can level my Defender from the jump
I love PVP and like Strikes alright, but hate the wave based single player content. I'm level 21+ and haven't unlocked anything but the Moon.
I'm not eager to struggle through the largely (to me) boring story content. Which is super weird, because the world building in the Grimoire cards is great. I love the setting and flavor lore, but they Dinklebot-deploy-wave-based deliveru in SP makes me want to fall asleep.
Am I so over leveled that I can power through without much effort?

Unlike the Beta, chests actually contain decent stuff sometimes.
I still wish they would just spit out engrams like we saw in that one ViDoc.

Finally completed the weekly strike. That shit ain't no joke. If you think you'll do just fine at level 20, you're in for a big wake up call. I need to get me some legendary/exotic quickly

God, just hit level 24, and the difference in the 24 strikes between even levels 23 and 24 are very noticeable. Still surviving without any Legendary armor, but soon I need to find it. Next goal is to get some legendary armor and reach at least 27
I'm honestly getting worried, though. I only had the game for 3 days, and I'm already level 24/30. Idk how the game is going to stay fresh until next week, let alone til the DLC comes out

Yeah, do not do that challenge at level 20. It was pretty normal for us at level 22 though
Well I'm pretty much dedicated to Hand Cannons now. Right now I have a combo of my Gauntlets having a faster reload on hand cannons trait, as well as the gun itself having a reload dramatically faster when getting precision kills trait. The two combined makes almost a comically fast reload animation. Its a dream to shoot with, I wanna upload a clip soon to show how fast the thing reloads. When I finally upgrade to a legendary one I think reload speed and magazine size will be the 2 most important factors for me.
That's what I thought. I haven't played any PvP yet though (did a bunch in the beta) so I'm ending up with a full inventory.

Gets even worse. So I just got a lvl up for Cryptarch. Got 3 legendary engrams in the mail. 2 were fucking materials and one turned into a rare that's worse THEN MY CURRENT ARMOR. Wtf does this game want from me? I can't move forward without better armor.
I don't get it. I worked for this shit and get nothing. And yes I'm pissed.

Only 3 coins to go! Also thanks to Garland7G and Sentient for an awesome run through the weekly heroic mission. Was a tough run but we nailed it in the end!
I can't decide whether or nit I like that, only halfway to enough coins though.

I've put in a fair amount of time to never see a legendary drop, let alone exotic. I feel ya.
Once you get your first Legendary Engram prepare yourself for some disappointment.
