I'm more frustrated at the lvl system Bungie has made. It doesn't matter if the game just came out 3 days ago. If this is the way it's gonna continue. Then maybe it's just not the game for me. *shugs*

Yeah having to juggle light is pretty annoying. The way it is now you start at 20 and get level 17-18 gear that has a bit of light on it. Once you've cobbled enough to reach 21 you start getting gear with more light. Then at 22 it continues and now at level 23 I'm finally getting actual level 20 gear but the stuff I have to equip doesn't match my build at all. I wanted to stack intellect and discipline and get hand cannon reload speed. All my good light stuff has a bunch of strength and to hit level 23 I've gotta use gloves with pulse rifle reload. If I equip my hand cannon reload gloves I'll drop to 22 and I'll go back to getting level 18-19 gear which won't let me continue progressing.

It's a really weird system and not enough stuff drops for you to be able to just run what you want.

It's sounding increasingly like Bungie is going to have to up the drop rates soon. Seems that a lot of people are having issues with the loot.

Up to 6 legendary engrams now, 5 have been crafting items and the other was armor for another class. Game is really good at kicking you in the nads.
 
Anyone on Xbox One need a third for the weekly strike? I want to run it a few times to get some "strange coins".

I'm a level 24 hunter bladedancer.

Nothing wrong with a high drop rate. Everyone knows that a majority of what you find is going to be trash and guess what, getting trash is useful because you need the salvage parts for weapon upgrades.

I've only found one legendary engram so far and luckily it ended up being a legendary weapon. The way it rolls a lower quality/other class is fucked, no one is looking forward to that when they find one. Don't know who thought that was a good idea.
 
Has anyone else's ship stopped appearing in orbit?

Also, throwing this out there too, my voice chat only works in xbone party chat. I can not hear or talk in the default game chat.
 
not a bad day, now level 25 and a half and have purple rocket launcher and purple fusion rifle, along with my purple chest plate I bought and am currently leveling ! Need to find a way to find some ascendant shards....

real close to 1k def now.

Depending on what kind of player you are, you'll want to either base your decision on 2 things: either the lore behind the faction, or the bonuses their gear grants you. Each faction emphasizes 2 of the 3 stats.

Personally, none of them really spoke to me, so I'm sticking with generic Vanguard/Crucible for now.
 
Opened a 'lost' blue enegram and lo and behold my SECOND legendary!

It alone was enough to boost me up to a 23 unupgraded. Epic raids here I come!

you only get the strange coins once brah.
nothing on subsequent runs.

how about that lvl 28 weekly strike ? anyone did it ?

I think (and this is pure speculation) that the reasoning is basically that if there are fewer loot drops, each drop becomes more significant. The issue is that for loot drops to be thematically significant, they also have to be an improvement on what you've already got, which really isn't viable in a game like this. So yeah, weird ass choice.
 
I'm jelly of everyone who has multiple legendaries/exotics. I only have two legendaries and one isn't for my class. I've turned in a heck of a lot of blue engrams and a fair few legendary ones with little to show for it. RNG gods hate me :/

Rare armor you find from now will have light on it. Fastest way is probably pvp of you like it. I get a 2-3 blue engrams during strikes but they may end up not being gear.
 
Ordered this game last month from GameStop.

Didn't arrive on Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or Thursday. Finally got it Friday morning. When I go to install it my broadband and landline dies. I phone up Sky and they tell me it will probably take upto 72 hours to fix.

Oh, life, what a joker you are.

I'll just be over there smashing things should anyone want me.
 
Man, the Crucible has turned to complete shit already. 99% auto rifles and shotguns. What a mess. I can't imagine it survives past the release of Halo and Call of Duty.
 
I'm starting a Titan and damn, the jetpack is so bad. Hope it gets better!
 
What's the best way to be earning Strange Coins? I'm hoping to snag those Titan gauntlets before the weekend ends. But I don't think that's going to be happening at this rate.

it does, don't worry. First upgrade is great. Wait Shoulder Charge and Superman Fist of Havoc too.

It does. The first upgrade turns it into something of an awesomerocket, there's this dead ghost on the moon that me and 2 other guys were trying to get to, past a tricky jump. Me and the other Titan got it almost immediately, and then we had to wait half an hour for the Warlock to finally make it up there :P

people tend to switch weapons with the map type and tempo of the game. if i'm on twilight gap, i'm not going to be the guy without a shotgun. the moon? bastion? very different. maps like burning shrine or exodus blue offer a bit of everything so you'll see a lot more diverse loadouts.
 
Holy fuck, is anyone else getting error 'bee' OVER AND OVER? This is fucking stupid, every hour I get dropped from whatever I was doing like 3 times. It's super fun replaying story missions 2 times in a row, and never being able to finish a match of PvP...
