Hnnnngggggg, Warlock Blink is amazing. As much fun to use as it was in Dishonored ;) In PvP it's an excellent ability to screw people over with, too. That feeling when someone's running towards you and you jump and blink behind them and shotgun them in the back before they have time to figure out what just happened? So good.

Just finished the story mode and anyone who is still arguing about whether this is an mmo or not should as well, its up there with some of the worst stories in any mmo i've played lol

Just need to get to 20 and then awesome armor here i come!

Im a level 20 hunter up for some Nexus farming. I have a microphone and im easy to talk to :) Send a PM with your PSN ID and i'll add you, i play on PS4!

Gonna get that exotic helm.

edit: all nerds bow down before my arc blade

One more coin for me! I'll have it by tonight.

How do I join a faction? Talked to them all but can't see an option to join.

At Level 30, buy a class item from one faction. When you wear it, all Vanguard/Crucible rep you were earning before now goes towards that faction. Get a high enough level with a faction and you can buy their gear. And you can freely move between factions, just wear their class item.

Just finished that Strike on the moon, goddamn, what was Bungie thinking. "You know what's fun? Shooting stuff. You know what'll be even more fun? Shooting the same thing a million times!"

I really really really hate the matchmaking ofr crucible. Sure stats get normalized but not skills. A level 5 has no chance versus a 20+. Skill can only compensate for so much and yet i still get into a match where i am the only one in double digits, no one else on my team is higher than 7

its not too long once you are like lvl 25....
reading comments like this, I think a lot of people will be disapointed when the raid comes out lol.... .

in a week, everyone will be 20 and up.

Higher level loot yes, not necessarily better.

But as you progress through 18 to 24, you'll start getting higher level req/stat gear. The 24 Strike playlist generally gives you level 19/20 gear, so after doing it enough you'll have a full set of rare weapons at level 20, which will hold you over nicely until you find more legendaries.

Speaking of rares, be sure to look at the mods on them before you scrap them. I still use a level 12 blue AR in Crucible because it's a Shingen E (an already Stable AR) with a Stability mod and a Single Point Sling (faster movement/weapon switch). Combine with either a Shotgun or a Fusion Rifle I found that both have Single Point Sling as well and... yeah. Amazing in PvP.
It's important to note that you can get engrams, well, just about anywhere really (even on like a level 4 story mission) and they may be up to your level.

The best Strikes are Dust Palace and the one where you take out the fallen priest.

Dust place is fun because it's clear one wave of enimies out and then you and your team have to choose one of the b three elemental enimies you want to take out and then repeat, the waves and using elements make this really fun. The priest one is fun because he roams around the map with enimies which makes each encounter cool.

Also guys USE SNIPERS ON BOSS FIGHTS! It usually ends up dealing more damage than your rockets or super and you can save those fur crowd control.

8_10k damage per clip is better than the 2k for rockets and supers.

I'm excited for the first patch. Hope they nerf the hell out of Bladedancers.

And the game is amazing. It has it's flaws, obviously, but my major ones are mostly social stuff that can be patched later (some kind of party finder and stuff like that). I really don't care about the story, just want some great loot and make cool characters.

Wow, talk about not being an easy transition from pc shooters to console. I tried to do the strike missions and I was so slow that I guess I just pissed the randoms off.

Hey people. Got my Kamas today, wonderful things. Tritton headsets sure are cool.

Is there an efficient way of collecting strange coins, or is it essentially pot luck from engrams? Doubt I'll have enough by tomorrow night for anything, but gotta get saving!

Also, is there a gallery containing shots of all the different factions armours and stat prefs anywhere? Sitting on muh glimmer trying to decide who to rep.

Pft.

Anyone want to do some Venus- Nexus Farming? PSN is GAF_Omnicent.
Going to do some bounties for now.

The insta kill AOE supers of other classes are more OP. You can shoot a Bladedancer.

I don't want my class nerfed. D: anyone down for some strikes or pvp later today? I'll be on my PS4 psn is zephyl.

I like the Nexus. Which one is the fallen priest one?

Fusion rifles and sniper rifles on bosses, endorsed.

I understand the limitations of last gen consoles, I am looking forward to Destiny 2. I want multi-buildings that I can traverse through and 1000+ foot drops that I can take.

Great game, I think the loot grinding is there way of keeping people to play. I'm not sure if their multiplayer will be as big as Halo but I look forward to this series. It is a great time to be a gamer.

Ah right I think I get ya. Thanks a lot.

Still looking for a group to do the Weekly Heroic Strike, lv 24 huntard. PS4: UglyPony

It sucks so bad you practically need to have your laptop with you to get anything done in this game.

Hit level 13 and as a fan of the Halo games and MMOs in general I really love the game. its Halo meets Phantasy Star Online, but it seems a lot of people wanted the next halo instead. I'm hoping we see chicago and more locations soon but I don't think this game deserves the vitriol that its getting from some people.

I agree with if the raid makes or breaks the game.

Shit, I think I might go back to D3. All this game does is piss me off in the end. It takes forever to get 100 vanguard and crucible marks. Vanilla TOR was better than this. I don't mind a grindfest, but this is taking it to the next level with the idea of needing both reputation and marks.

I'm used to getting tokens/commendations from games, turning them in, and buying set gear. I'm also used to killing bosses for certain tokens I could trade in and pick what gear I want and for which class. Having to 1) hope for a legendary drop and 2) hope that it's for your class is a bit too much to bear.

I might have to wait a bit to see where this game goes and if Bungie can fix this a bit. I like what's intended, but I'd much rather grind instances for a reasonable currency than grind in hopes RNG is in my favor.

What is this Nexus farming people keep mentioning?

-nexus strike on venus. when you enter the large nexus cave, alternate killing the vex with your supers, and then everyone jumps off the edge. it respawns you right at the entrance so you can repeat. you'll get blue and green emblems and sometimes purple ones.

FINALLY get a blue engram that doesn't turn into some shitty green item annndddd it's for the Hunter class only. Might have to put this game down for a while into they inevitably patch the shit out of it.

All classes want other classes nerfed :P

Nah. I get annoyed when a Titan kills four dudes at once, but I think the classes are actually pretty well balanced.

I'm seeing some higher level hunters actually switch back to golden gun/gunslinger because dancers are so fragile, even.

Can someone smarter than myself justify the reputation system? It's already nuts the marks payout from strikes/crucible is pitifully low, but the rep system is probably the worst wall in all of the game.
