I've had the occasional disconnect today but the melee lag (easiest to spot) and general lag has been there from launch day for me. I'm guessing it will be solved down the line though as 3v3 or all on all modes work fine.
 
Sorry as I am sure this has been asked, but fuck trying to find the answer in this thread:

If I have the code for the two Expansions can I redeem them now, or do I have to wait until the content goes live?
 
Well, this is disappointing. I have no one to coop with. I tried to be proactive leading up to the release and added over 60 GAFfers to my PSN friends list. I don't have much time during the week to play and only put in a few hours. I figure today would be good and I have dozens of friends online but they are all level 20+. I guess I am stuck soloing the rest of the game. Bungie should really consider adding public matchmaking for firetreams.
 
Caved and bought it. Seems shaky currently, but the beauty of online is that it can be patched to be made better.

No PSN+ currently so no co-op/PvP, but I'm fine with just playing with my self for now.

Add me! I am level 13 and in the same situation. I am still on the Moon (about 3 missions in). Done for tonight, but should be on tomorrow in the late morning early afternoon.

im 21, id put it at 5-10 blue engrams an hour. our group one got a legendary class item engram on the second run.

it's fast, it's easy, it's farming

You can get engrams from any content so it's still pretty enjoyable to help lowbies

You're correct, that's how it's done. I did it and was shooting them all well outside the zone, counter stayed at 10, and completed it with the 3 stars so.

Open the map and in the top left hand corner there's an X, press it.

Wonder what it is?
 
Just got my first legendary engram.... Cryptarch decided to screw me over and turned it into a blue rare.

I'm fucking pissed right now. Fuck you Bungie. FUCK. YOU.

The weapon isn't even as good as my other weapon in its class, and it's at a higher level. Jesus. This is a gang bang of bad luck.

Goddamn. Constantly getting dropped from the servers. Fine until 8pm (UK) but now (00:30) terrible. 5 times in the last 3 hours. And what annoys me is that you get that message suggesting it's MY internet connection that's at fault. No Bungie it isn't. It's yours.

Apart from that I'm having a great time. Finally got to 20 and found some decent stuff. just need to start those Vanguard Strikes.

First saw him in game haven't checked the app at all. Accepts strange coins for powerful items.

Currently level 8 on the Moon. Doing the level 8 story missions. I don't know if it is the server or my connection but I got kicked out of the game for a connection issue just now. Still saying it is contacting servers....

Ok seriously WHERE do you get lvl 20 items?

All I find are lvl 17 armor with a bit of light on them or lvl 18 weapons that can definitely NOT hurt the enemies in the lvl 22 strikes.
 
Anyone got any tips on getting weapon parts? This shit is really annoying. Get a new Badass weapon and you can't do much with it for a long ass time. Ugh

Same problem here. I played the first time a strike. It was really nice NOT playing alone. Bit I guess we have to wait until they add matchmaking. Would make it a lot better.

Playing alone is okay for some time, but over several ours it is a little bit annoying.

I am level 10, just doing PVP and one or two Story Missions when I have time.
 
Do people not know the definition of random? Yeah, it sucks when drops don't go your way, but to get so vehemently upset over something seems absurd. It's not like Bungie has their finger over a button each time someone decrypts something. "Nope, not today, sucker!" Yeah, no.

Maybe it's the ~1000 hours of Diablo 3 talking, I dunno.
