At this point, I'd be excited just to get a legendary to decode and just look at it. I'd even be excited if it glitched and gave me nothing....like literally, I decode it and nothing happens. I'd still be excited.

You can buy exotic armor and weapons using strange coins that you get (and motes of light possibly?). He only shows up on weekends next to the crucible shops.

Me and some others did a bunch of hard PvE things today and honestly you get twice the loot and better stuff just playing PvP, it makes the entire world to explore more pointless then ever.
IMO items in PvP is way too common and should be cut back, but the damage is done and people will complain if rewards were suddenly scaled down.

Guessing from the limitation that you can only use one exotic item at a time that it has to be better than a legendary, imo
Common > Uncommon > Rare > Legendary > Exotic.

I just beat the level 26 weekly heroic and finally got enough strange coins to get my fancy hunter helmet. It was tense as hell. We were level 23, 24, and 25, and barely made it through at times.
