Ya if I have any one cloying problem above other stuff. It is the loot system. Most other things I can live with as just the bits of an ok game. But the loot system steers me dangerously close to true rage

Most of you are so far ahead of me I have no idea what you all are talking about half the time.
I really earned my sunbreakers. Level 26 strike with arc damage at level 24 was brutal. The people who helped me were great. They really showed some skill during the strike. Sunsinger warlock saved our asses multiple times. I'm gonna start working on sunsinger soon. Just got one more thing to unlock with void walker
I get that, but in a game like Diablo 3 you get more and more legendaries the higher you get, etc. So, it's not pure RNG, there's more going on. And the rewards from PvP seem considerably better than PvE so far. Eh, I'll keep grinding into the 20's and see where I am.

The real problem is that you are supposed to get items to level up... to get to higher missions to get higher items.
If I keep getting purple stuff that turns into blues... how am i supposed to go on?
I don't want to touch the pvp.

Just got my first legendary engram from the crucible... got really excited, then I saw that it was class item. Oh well, maybe it will look awesome. Open it up, and it's the bond that gets you reputation with the New Monarchy, which I could walk over and buy for 2500 glimmer... RNG Y U DO DIS

That's the really cool part though, so much stuff gets dumped on you when you start to reach higher levels none of it makes a bit of sense at first. Had to come to GAF to find out what half of the stuff does and how you collect it, so I guess in some sense they got that Dark Souls feel. I was actually starting to get worried that the post level cap stuff would be boring but I'm really enjoying all the different angles of the loot grind they set out.

'Fraid not. If anything, it seems to drop off; I get fewer drops as a level 20 than I did as a level 19.
Other than upping the loot gain a bit, not really. There's a greater number of elite enemies (and a greater number of enemies overall), but by and large it just jacks up everybody's health and damage.

There's an area in the Nexus strike where there's a whole bunch of Vex Goblins in tight confines. You can kill them, grab the loot, jump off a cliff and respawn in <30 seconds. Apparently it's a great way to get loot, but when I tried it earlier my drops weren't coming that fast, and it was mindnumbingly tedious.

Thanks for the info on Hard. Cool stuff. Seems like it's mostly there for people who out leveled the content and still want a semblance of a challenge and a better reward.
I just finished the level on the Moon with the sword and that was a lot of fun.
Bungie should make a Destiny Musou spinoff with that thing.

I got my last 2 from blue engrams. Daily public events, guaranteed at least one a day, run the weekly strike along the different difficulties or hope you get lucky and get one in PVP

Its only been 5 days and we have people nearing level 30. Outside of raids and public events how does bungies intend on keeping high level players engaged when they pretty much have everything?
Just finished the weekly Nightfall Strike. It was extremely difficult, but through stacking arc damage, lots of ammo packs, and a bit of luck, we managed.
Got this at the end.
You get a buff after completing it too.
The also buff gives you a cool blue flame effect on your head for other players to stare in awe at you while you dance in the tower.

My cousin is the sunsinger class and the amount of times he has self res'd himself to save us in PvE and to help in PvP 3 on 3's has been ... a lot.
They seem really good, no one expects you to respawn on the spot and shoot them in the back.
It would be nice if some classes which help support their team had a more obvious notice going with it, for example playing as a defender no one knows that walking into my shield will give them an overshield, if the bubble was blue instead of purple at least then people would know.

dunno why people hate the last level. easily my favorite, and compared to the rest of the game it's a league ahead. if there were 12 levels with that structure and caliber and a better story behind the game it would have been incredible. then again, you can't do much with the trite lore in Destiny. Right back to cringe-worthy dialog afterwards.

the way the audio was played in the final fight was so tacky. was like a playlist of destiny music
arc fusion rifles were such a god send
but this is pretty neat! I didn't notice that at all. I got a legendary engram but obviously it turned into a blue...

All the faction's Titan marks are ugly as fuck. One of the reasons I'm sticking with the Vanguard.
