Destiny |OT2| The Last Guardians

Matchmaking is slowly getting worse for me. Keep on coming up against other teams with fireteams and I get stuck with new players who don't know what to do. On larger maps such as the moon you may as well quit.

It still bothers me that it doesn't tell you (or clearly) what the next mission should be. When you arrive and there are 5..it's like..wut?

I really really hate the loot system. I'm so damn tired of my legendary engrams turning into uncommon items. Other classes items I can handle cause it would mean I won't spend much time farming for their stuff. But being given an uncommon item after god knows how long you spent trying to get the engram just fucking blows.

haha yes dude preach, just got another one in crucible turns into uncommon, fuck me I may aswell just say I have a blue engram to begin with.

Give me a break Bungie.

Ah. Do a dance off. You still get 2 points for losing. I have been seeing this happening a ton today haha.

Yeah. I'm fine with decoding into other class legendary items because I plan on having all of them at 20 at some point so at that point the more purps the better (though Warlock is most fun to me so far). Purple engrams decoding lower most of the time is bullshit though. Blue Engrams, for me at least, mostly turn into blue stuff (not as good as what I have already, but still blue) while purple seems to turn into purple as often as blue turns into green.

i like that the mission starts in a public space, but once it's in a private space the "main mission" should begin, which should last you half an hour minimum. it gives a meaning to the story and at the same time facilitates those crossroads interactions in the beginning. On my way to the mission, I encountered a public event and joined a few guardians doing their own thing. That's the beauty of Destiny, but Bungie rarely taps into that potential.

Speaking of meeting other guardians, why do they always check me out when I'm standing still?
I'd guess that a lot of people think you need to target someone with R3 to inspect them. Would explain why they do it when you're standing still.

Doing it from the menu is so much easier and you can inspect anyone in your game world at any given moment, regardless of whether they're near you.

I've never gotten a single blue item from a blue engram. I've gotten lots of blue items on their own from drops but every single blue engram I've gotten has turned into a green item :|

Haven't even gotten a single purple engram yet though.

Ok so to level+20:

Buy gear from Speaker and the currency is Mote of Light which you get by earning XP

Buy gear from your faction representative by earning Reputation

Is that correct?

How far are Bungie's heads up their asses for not including matchmaking for weekly strikes? Finally went to try it and I was thinking it mustn't be very popular because it keeps throwing me in solo, then I realized it wasn't even looking for other players. Fucking idiots.

But totally not an mmo, no need to grind unless you want actual loot not just dismantleling junk

So we finished the moon strike...And the final boss was annoying. SO many Knights to deal with. And the boss himself was such a fucking sponge.

I always seem to be getting teamed up with others who play this game worse than I was playing Goldeneye as a 10 year old. Some people should be ashamed over how fucking abysmally bad they are and they should honestly stop playing video games. Or keep to single player.

Fuck PvP and having to depend on casuals.

I needed 3 strange coins to be able to buy the Mask of the Third Man from the vendor. So even though me and my friends were level 23 we did the level 26 heroic strike for the 3 strange coins.

HOLY SHIIIIIIT that was tough but so much fun. The fact higher difficulties force you to use specific types of damage is neat and adds that extra bit of challenge.

Level 24 now with the helmet :P

especially that hand cannon. anything else in PvE is a waste of ammo.

Anyone on PSN want to do that weekly Sepiks Prime Strike?

Also what are Strange Coins used for? I see people trying to get them but I haven't noticed them used anywhere.

that's what DestinyGAF was designed to stop.

Go find some people there, we have plenty decent people playing!

But seriously leave off the bad people, they should be allowed to have fun too.

A friend described Destiny thusly, and I couldn't agree more:

"It's impressively underdeveloped and antiseptic. If just makes me want Borderlands 3."

The lack of some humor, flavour and compelling artistic design really hurts the game, as does the missing sense of exploration. The areas in the game feel very compartmentalized.
