I always seem to be getting teamed up with others who play this game worse than I was playing Goldeneye as a 10 year old. Some people should be ashamed over how fucking abysmally bad they are and they should honestly stop playing video games. Or keep to single player.

Fuck PvP and having to depend on casuals.

Talk about cause for being ashamed...

They're all likely trying and doing the best they can.

People should be ashamed of themselves and stop playing video games because they're not as good as you? C'mon man.

lol

I'm bad at console shooters teach me how to make the auto-aim work in my favour when I use the sniper rifle

Shotguns and fusion rifles need to be nerfed. no aiming required, any shot is a one hit kill and there is infinite ammo on the field at all times.it should at least take 2 shots to kill a person, but a fusion rifle shot anywhere is an instant kill? gotta be kidding me

Shotguns are not a one shot kill all the time plus their range is abysmal. I haven't used Fusion Rifles enough but I'd argue their charge time counteracts their effectiveness a bit

Okay guys.

I have a few lore-related questions that I can't get answered on my own because for some reason my browser won't load Bungie.net.

Numero Uno: Is glimmer only used as currency in the Tower or is it used as currency in the City, as well?

Numero Dos: Do Fallen servitors have come kind of core or CPU of some kind that powers their internal logic?

And this one's a bit more out-there, and completely up to speculation.

Numero Tres: Could "element cores" from elemental weapons be repurposed for explosives/tools/etc.?

I have a noob question. How effective would a weapon bought from the crucible vendor be over one from the vanguard one in PvE be? Would it not be a good idea? I am closer to being able to buy one from the crucible vendor than the latter, but I was just curious. I'm not sure what the difference is between the pvp weapons and pve weapons in terms of stats

Embarassing post

Dang you shouldn't take games this seriously, you aren't getting paid

I did a strike and died maybe 2s before the boss did. Some dude then proceeded to revive me to 90% and then stop repeatedly until the mission ended.

He may not have been doing that on purpose. I've had a number of times where I would try to revive a friend and it would just stop towards the end.

Lol... In the 2nd mission on mars. Reached a barrier where you're supposed to get off your tank. Managed to fandangle my way up a wall and over the barrier.

So what's the general consensus on Salvage?

I think the point distribution is kinda off. Holding that point should net you more than 200 considering it's a long 30-sec timer and it's quickly defused for only 50 points less. I like the game mode, but it needs tweaks IMO.

I swear this game is putting me with the bad team every single time the last few rounds. Either people are completely unaware of their surroundings or they're AFK

Fine shotguns cause I am upset, but fusion rifles should theoretically be balanced by charge time but I keep seeing people just shooting them off as if they had no actual charge time.

Actually me and my buddies noticed before that sometimes you can't revive after the boss dies and it just keeps going to 90 and resetting when you hold it in, so he might not have been a dick. Ha

the pvp in this game is awful

It's the only good part of the game :/

A good player keeps the gun perpetually pre-charged so when you turn a corner they're more ready to fire. It just seems like they're not charging

Because they've charged it before you appear on screen by watching the mini map

It's just as dumb as the other 3v3 mode. If you don't have a full team don't even bother going in.

Bungie blatantly copied the Venus The Nexus Strike boss fight from Metriod Prime IMO:

Just soloed Devils Lair as my 2 partners decided to farm or something the whole time. 265 kills using my glimmer boosting item, 3.5k glimmer, 0 deaths so got my Walking Tall bounty and got nearly 7k experience so almost done my 9k exp without dying bounty lol . That was fun and only took 25 minutrs

yeah getting wrecked by shotguns and fusion rifles when my exotic shotgun does jack shit and my fusion rifle does nothing is fun

some with titan melee assholes.

i roll with the Shingen-c and a sniper, i make it tough to get to me, but i encountered alot of those earlier today

Damn. What are you playing right now that's getting you these gears so fast?

Well most people getting to Level 24 with maxed out Rare gear is pretty easy. To get from 24 to 25 you need Legendaries and/or an Exotic piece. I got lucky and got enough strange coins to get the gauntlets that Xur is selling, which boosted me to 25 instantly, and then playing PvP enough to get the 65 Crucible marks required to buy a Legendary chest piece from New Monarchy. I got Rank 2 reputation with them today as well -- that's from turning in lots of bounties and doing missions out in Patrol.

Next, it's waiting until the weekly reset and I'll be picking up some boots from New Monarchy unless I find some Legendaries beforehand.

:O I'm so envious right now you have no idea. Been stuck at 24 with my Warlock for ages now. Still having a fucking blast though, so that's all that really matters :)

Exactly! The journey is a lot of fun to me, I like loot games so this is all awesome to me.

wow, grats. literally the first I've seen, ingame or otherwise

I've seen a couple 26's that I've been grouped up with, and I know I'm not close to the first on DGAF.

Fusion Rifles are borderline broken. The charge time or damage needs to be reduced especially for something that has that kind of one-hit kill range.

Shotguns are fine. You have to be really on someone to get the one shot kill from full health.

I think the point distribution on all the capture type modes are way off. It took me a whole to figure out that capturing a point in Capture wasn't the be all end goal like in CoD Domination since the score still comes from kills. So you could totally just ignore attacking points and just kill everything like it's TDM and you'll probably get a higher score than your teammates actually trying for the objective.

I swear this game is putting me with the bad team every single time the last few rounds. Either people are completely unaware of their surroundings or they're AFK

Played Strike once with randoms, every time they died I revived them, the one or two times I died they ignored me and each other. Needless to say I quit after attempt number 4.

This. On smaller maps I'm constantly tapping the charge button while moving around. I laugh every time I catch someone with their super activated.

got to level 20, everythings slowed down.. where do i get all this light stuff? :(

edit: and i regret switching to sunslinger for my walock.. the other original one was way better.

Anybody else keep getting the same armor pieces over and over? I swear I've gotten like 20+ Mangala Skin pieces for Hunter. So annoying.

Good thing I'm not the type to send hate mail. There weren't any drops around so it wasn't that big a deal really

1) There's matchmaking for Strikes. Find better friends who will help you. Or just invite whoever is in area to your Fireteam.

2) Thank God there's no Voice in the Tower, text chat would be nice, but holy hell it would take forever to type msg's on PS4.

3) Again, Thank God!!!! I don't want to listen to a bunch if kids telling me to go fuck myself.

4) Explore mode is purely for grinding.

5) all you had to do, was start your early missions on the hard mode, and you wouldn't have had to grind.

i think it plays fairly well, but it should be more like 1-site extraction from Halo 4. players should be able to fight for control over the point before it moves to a new location. the team who gets there first is the only one who can score from it; the other team can only stop the capture. it would be fine if the other team didn't spawn by the relic half of the time (particularly on Firebase Delphi). Maybe it just shouldn't be on that map.
