This is what I'm talking about right here. Why does the worst player get the best shit?

Btw, can someone explain why the social features are so umm... basic? Like... What were they thinking?

I've been soloing Destiny, for the most part, and I've enjoyed the game (like 6.5 or 7/10 enjoyed, that is) until now, but randoms quitting during a strike really pisses me off. Not only you need friends to get the most out of Destiny, but it's also pretty much impossible to "make friends". I'm trying to join randoms fireteam because there's no proximity chat, but nope, it's friends only, so fuck that. (And randoms never accept my invites.) And I think many are not even aware that their fireteam is friends only, as it is the default option. Atleast it took me like 10 levels to figure that out. Sigh...

Yeah. The whining associated with Bladedancers has got to be largely from folks who never played the subclass. I'm at the point that I can wreck shop with it here and there, but it's not a guarantee when a single shotgun blast takes you out.

I'd love to see some proof of that because I've hit a Hunter with Arc Blade directly with a rocket and it didn't even completely drop their shields. I have a hard time believing anyone with Arc Blade active has died from a single shotgun shot.

Yeah I'm a mostly solo player as well. Having people drop out of Strikes just ruins the whole thing. There should be a punishment for leaving Strike MM

lol plz

blade dancers who suck get nothing but death

True but a good blade dancer can be an absolute monster. Not to mention that invisibility can help to net a bunch of unsuspected kills. I guess that's the stuff that makes a good blade dancer good though. (please don't nerf it, I love slicing up half a team with it)

Play with it and see. Maybe lag had something to do with your instance, but you are not invulnerable during Arcblade. Half the time the super ends with, at best, one enemy down.

But a Titan can install kill four guys with AOE with almost no skill involved. And good Arcblade ain't easy.

I get shot down all the time in Arc Blade. Hell, I've gone to attack a titan as he supered, did like half of his shield when it's normally a one hit kill, then got one shot by his super.

I've a hard time believing there wasn't lag involved because I've been done in with handcannons while blade dancing. A direct rocket hit would've killed a normal blade dancer twice over.

God...that weekly strike was difficult even being at recommended level and having a level 24 in the party. I would die in 1 hit from those Vandal shots. Ended up getting a Legendary Machine Gun from it though!

This. If the netcode was better, the Bladedancer would have a fantastic super, lots of risk, lots of reward. As is, things are too shaky, and they end up shrugging off what should have been lethal damage and taking out entire teams.

I'm defensive about the Arcblade stuff because A) it's not easy and has far less of a kill guarantee than other supers and B) I've gotten pretty good at it. I recommend that anyone who has issue with it try it out.

It happens all the time, try it. A rocket would kill too, you get no damage resistance increase so far as I know.

When you get on a roll and kill 3 or 4 and live to fight on it is awesome and feels great, but a titan's drop in a confined space or on a control point is a lot less nuanced and kills much quicker.

Is the nexus farming that better than the spot on Venus where vex and fallen spawn on either side of you repeatedly? You fly right there on your sparrow and I've done it twice for 15-20 min.and got 1 legendary and 3-6 blue engrams each time.

PvP just feels really bad in this game... seems like a kill will register almost a full second after I actually kill someone. I get that sacrifices had to be made due to the RPG nature of the game but seriously this feels off.

I Would say so. Just got done with one and ended up with enough strange coins for my exotic

A million times this.

Any Nexus farm spots open (PS4)?

Add me, YoshichanGAF

Edit: lvl 24 btw

Weekly heroic done! At last. Hard but good. Dat arc damage bonus, jesus. Devil walker's never gone down so quick.

Now just to do it two more times before Xur leaves ;p Not really, I don't like the look of those titan gauntlets, I'ma hold onto the coinage for next weekend and see what he brings then.
