Seeing that Gabriel Andrade is doing the art suggest it will be heavy with the gore horror. Ferals made me go wow.

"Crossed" in the title also suggests that the title will be gore-heavy. I'm more interested in how Alan Moore is going to approach a book like this.

BTW, what's up with the New Mutants these days? I haven't read X comics in a few years.

They're spread out all over the place - Cannonball and Sunspot are Avengers (or at least I think they still are, haven't kept up with the Hickman stuff), Dani Moonstar was in Fearless Defenders (ended a while ago) and Magik might as well be renamed Blackbird since she's pretty much just used as a vehicle in Uncanny X-Men.

Cannonball and Sunspot were last sighted in Avengers World, still not sure why they are Avengers, I wonder if Hickman had more plans for them but held off.

Don't forget, guys. Alias omnibus reprint next week!

For my wallet's sake, I hope it doesn't get a 50% discount on release. I think I'd probably have to get it. Especially after reading Scarlet just the other day and enjoying it so much.

I can't imagine them not marking it down to 50%. They always do that with omnibuses.

But it's also a reprint. Some reprints don't even show up on latest releases, let alone deals of the week. At least that's how it is with reprints when books haven't gone super OOP/OOS, if my memory isn't failing me (which it very well could be). I'm pretty sure the Sleeper omnibus was stealthily added back onto IST. I could be very wrong though.

Also, can anyone tell me what this is from?
It's absolutely incredible.

I've run into a bit of a problem. IST doesn't have a Spawn omnibus or volume 1 hardcover for Origins. They do have a Compendium, but it's black and white. Anyone have any pics for early Spawn coloring or the black and white?
Dunno what to do, I wanna be EXTREME.

They'll discount it. For one, there doesn't look to be a whole lot of big releases next week, and more importantly, you don't want them to. So of course, they will.

That's awesome

Did not know there was a Chuck Dixon/Klaus Janson Gordon miniseries. Anyone who's read it, it any good?
Not sure but I'll probably be getting it soon. It's a little frustrating I just ordered the turning points trade from IST this weekend it's been on my wish list for a while and finally got to it. So of course a cheaper option shows up today

Also, kind of pissed at Lasership. The Amazon tracking updated to "Delivery Attempted: Not Home." I was anticipating that dumb package all day, and at the time listed my hearing was 100% unimpaired, plus I have dogs in the house that would've barked if anyone got nearby (especially with a delivery vehicle), and they didn't leave any kind of notice near the house (and it was too cheap of a package to need a sign anyway!). I'm guessing the driver was running behind and just BS'd it rather than coming over my way, but either way I sent them a grumpy message. It probably won't matter and I'll (hopefully) get the package tomorrow anyway, but it still definitely annoys me quite a bit.

All of these 'last mile delivery' companies are sketchy. I swear ONTRAC screws up at least half the orders they end up covering. I've had them refuse to deliver a package that was allegedly damaged, while neither notifying myself nor Amazon. I've had a bunch of alleged failures to deliver because the drivers are too incompetent/lazy to use the fucking intercom at my building (or hell, my phone number), and yet also fail to leave a tag. I hate them so much. The worst thing is that I can't even figure out if they're just incompetent or fabricating delivery attempts.

I've taken to using on Amazon Lockers to avoid these shipping issues, which is kind of obnoxious, but very reliable. Now if they could get a drone to drop packages on my balcony, that'd be pretty sweet...

So, I had a Deadly Class birthday today. I picked up the first trade and completely devoured it on the way home.

Fucking Remender did it to me again.
Happy birthday!

I want to buy this... But I'm still in the middle of a bunch of other things :(

I'll just skip the sale and buy the trades off of IST over time since this is one series I've always wanted to check out but never did

Must..not..spend..money..until...NYCC. I'll just keep telling myself that I can get a comparable deal on the Alias Omnibus at the show. (Of course I'll have to carry around an omnibus to do that)

Looks like it..but still not sure.

Amazon has Pulse as 9/16 and Alias as 11/4.

TFAW says September 24th for Alias though.

Yes. Yes it does. You need to remember that all of amazon's dates are delayed a few weeks. They're not a direct market comic shop like IST, TFAW, Midtown, etc. I know Barnes & Noble will get graphic novels the week following their actual release dates in most cases.
