(To set the scene, our company is located in a major train station in Philly.)

So I was working with an employee we recently hired this evening. While I was filing reports, he excused himself to go to the restroom. Was gone for about 20 minutes, which is a bit long, but whatev.

I'm doing my own work, just minding my damn business, when he comes running back to the office like, "OMG! I just did the craziest thing. OMG you won't believe what happened!!!!!!11!!11one"

"What the hell happened?"

"I just gave a guy a blowjob in the train station bathroom!"

"...you just did what in the what-now?"

"Yeah! I just sucked cock in the bathroom!"

The rest of the conversation is a blur, mostly because I was too busy mentally confronting the fact this employee was standing really close to me, and my face was currently being caressed by the musty steam of a strange man's dick, balls and semen on his breath. I laughed it off, gave him a non-committal "You're soooo bad!" and looked for the most immediate excuse to leave the room.

Here's the thing: I'm his boss. Don't know why he didn't think of that.

I can fire him. I have the power.

I WANT to fire him.

But, I usually have to give a reason for these sorts of things.

I'm wondering if I should just keep it to myself, because it's really fucking awkward? Fire him and go over the story with my boss and potentially be yelled at for not immediately reprimanding him (which, in hindsight, I probs should have done)?

GAF, is this even really a big deal??? I feel like he must have later realized that he done goofed, because he tried to invite me out for a drink, which I politely declined.

The weirder thing? When I finally left the office, about an hour after he did, not only did I spot him still in the train station, but he was hovering around the restroom. But maybe I'm just thinking too hard about this.

He's just told you he is gay and asked you out. Did it not occur to you that he wants to blow you?

Edit: Presumably in a train station bathroom in Philly.

Dude what the fuck? How is this even a question. Fire him, otherwise it'll reflect more poorly on you that you seemingly let activity like that slide.

The hell?

I misread the title and thought he was giving you anonymous bjs and then suddenly admitted to it. So you considered firing him for it.

Title makes it sound like he as blowing you. That's not the case, it's other randos. This sounds like a fireable offense. Sex on the job, admitting it, and continued employment? You want that on your conscious?

You should have fired him on the spot. His lack of respect is one thing, the other is... come on, its obvious. You are his boss, act like one or everyone will walk over you.

Is this the dude who was making everyone uncomfortable on a work trip a few weeks back?

Edit: Just seen he was just hired.

Edit: apparently that wasn't even you.

This thread holds a lot of promise.

OP, this employee will be trouble and will end up being fired soon. Be prepared. And you know this, but...

I'd talk with him. Let him know that he can NOT do these things, that this is his one second chance he gets.

You're not the only one. Matter of fact I'm not completely sure I misread it. Who's to say the OP didn't have second thoughts about the title then realizing it was too late to alter it altered the text of the post instead?

Besides the fact that it's incredibly unprofessional to walk up to your boss and share the details about how you gave a BJ on the clock for 20 minutes in the bathroom, to do that on the first fucking day? Yeah, I'd fire him on the spot. I don't want to work with that kind of crazy

Well for one, I'm pretty sure OP is a female

He went off the rails when it comes to maintaining a professional work environment. We all blow off steam, but who knows what he'll derail if he continues to work with you.

He didnt give the blowjob in the company´s bathrooms, right? If so, I am sorry but you are sex-shaming him which is a really gross thing to do tbh.

"Giving anon blowjobs in bathroom to me" made me think you were in some sort of glory-hole situation, and you just found out the dude on the other side was your employee.

Anyhoo, yeah, I'd probably fire him. Dude is breaking public decency laws while on the clock.

Yep.

Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but Royalan, you're going to have to fire this guy. Because I guarantee you more stories/advances are forthcoming.

Give him one warning.
Tell him you don't care what he does in his free time, but when he's on the clock, he sucks no cock.

Dude! This is not a slap on the wrist offence. What if one of the parties claims sexual assault and it comes out that OP was told and did nothing.

OP, Take this shit straight to HR!
