PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

The full games are huge, I don't think they ever thought about that seriously.
I don't know, it's too soon to assume it's been completely canned, Nagoshi was still talking about it just a year ago and they've been kinda busy with the PS3/4, if all they wanted to do was a companion app they could have simply made a menu-based, well, app instead of porting the engine.

I say that because I get the suspicion that Vita might not be a thing anymore by the end of 2015. I don't mean that just in terms of North America, I mean globally. I don't see why Sega would want to invest in that anymore than they already have.

Well, It's supposed to be discontinued since 2013 according to a lot of people, let's see how PSNova and Digimon perform.

Despair is no more.
Congrats, my copy arrived today too.

Despair is no more.

I wanna play mine (arrived last monday), but I decided to finish some Avalon Pacts in Vanilla SS first and it's taking forever! At least I don't have any exams left, so I can spend the next 3 days drenched in despair!

Looove the Monocoin

Don't worry, Chilly, it looks like Soul Sacrifice will die. Delta has one update left and there's been no hints or rumours about a sequel after Inafune's mic drop last year. I guess that was cancelled because SCE isn't doing Vita games anymore and thought it would be confusing on PS4 with Bloodborne or something.

I'm looking forward to Frozen Synapse.

Can you toggle between the new and the old artstyle, though? Game seems to have gotten a downgrade in the visual department.

Grades recovered? (´・ω`・)

Yep.

Been doing quite well for a while. Hopefully, also in the future.

I have been getting back to playing games again. Been playing Muramasa and I just need to finish Fury mode for both characters to get platinum. I also started playing SMT:Nocturne.

It's good to be back.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised myself. If you have any questions, I'll see if I can answer them.

No embargo?

My questions:
Framerate, differences from original, length of SP campaign?

Yep, no contest.

P4D all the way.

I'm hyped for both.

IIRC the thing ppl like with P4G is the characters and the gameplay, none of that will be in the game as far as I know?

Are you hyped about the BG animations or am I missing something?

THANK GODJESUS

I am not hating on P4D, it's just that I would like more complex games on the vita and if a lot of ppl buy FS:P, that might happen ;)

Still hoping for xcom, shadowrun, banner saga and BG EE.

Since localization is the hard part, would there be any reason at all they wouldn't at least throw the digital vita version out there?

This is a Namco Bandai game, they already screwed the Vita more than once by only localizing the PS3 version of multi-platform PS3+Vita games.

It's very likely that they'll pull the same shit for God Eater 2 Burst. Especially if they market it to the West as an online game.

Not sure there's much to explain.
P4D has a story mode that follows on from P4AU with the cast returning.
It's a music rhythm game with a Shoji Meguro soundtrack of Persona songs and being developed by noted Project Diva developers, Dingo.
That's all there is to it.

You're right though, there is a dearth of complex strategy games currently on the Vita when they would work quite well for the platform and not be too technically taxing.

This and I'm really hoping there's an option like in Persona 4 Golden where there are explanations, videos and other stuff like a hidden trailer for Persona 5/Persona 3 Platinum. That would be nuts.
I think I'm overspending on games zzz
and killatopak it's nice to see you back
Glad to be back. :)

Hmmm Shizuka is king/queen now? Oh how the mighty have fallen. I guess the same could be said when I was still at the top.

I think we are past buying games on Vita sending any kind of message to anyone. Except of course those rubbing games. Just enjoy what we get now.

For the record being a strategy fan I have been very interested in FS. I am also strangely hyped for Persona Dance to though so whynotboth.gif
