Had this happen to me on Earth instead of the Warsat once. It was awesome. It said the enemies are attacking eath other or something. And a thousand guys were streaming out of the room. We trapped em in and kept throwing grendades and missiles. In five minutes I had probably 4 blues and seven greens.

Believe it or not I got it from a purple engram that I picked up in the crucible. I guess the real cryptarch had the day off when I turned it in.
Haven't got all of them yet but so far it still feels super under powered. It looks cool though so there's that I guess. If you miss one burst in pvp you won't kill your target and they've probably already killed you any ways with an auto rifle.

I had planned to play this game all weekend long, but last night I just couldn't get into it.
*Grinding at the cave kept getting cut short due to trolls, grinding on the moon just wasn't that fun or interesting
*I maxed out my points for this week doing strike playlists so there was no real point in doing that
*My level is too low to successfully do Vault of Glass
*I hate PvP in this game with an undying passion
*The exotic bounty I'm doing has me needing to decode 10 fusions rifles (rare or higher) which takes me back to the grinding for engrams...
*And all of my legendary and exotic gear is max level experience point wise, but I can't upgrade anything because I have to grind for all the god damn materials...
I booted it up about an hour ago thinking I just needed to walk away from the game for the night and I'm still not feeling it. I think I'm done for awhile

I wish I would have gotten the shotgun. I've gottan killed by that thing a ton in pvp. It feels hopeless with bad juju in pvp and pve and it was literally one of the exotics they called out in a vid doc.

Me and 2 other friends actually did this last night. We felt The Summoning Pits strike on the moon was the fastest for us. All we had to fight were the "resist the hive" section and the boss at the end. Just run pass all the other mobs. Took us about 6-7 min to run through it.
As soon as you start the mission, you can hop on your car and ride straight into that "resist the hive" section, ignoring the mobs.
As for the boss, I'm a sunsinger and I equipped 2 grenades so when I use my super, I'll just chuck sticky grenades at him till I run out. Then I'll fire my rockets and finish with my AR. My friends would use their rockets as well and just keep hitting his weak point. We try to ignore the mobs and only attack them if they are close to us. With all 3 of us hitting his weak spot, he would stagger often so his attacks weren't really an issue.
I was level 26 and my other friends were 24/25.
We noticed if you did a high level strike and completed it, it would count as 2 instead of 1. Maybe someone else can confirm that?
Right I need to start clarifying lol. PS4. This last step for Thorn is proving a pain lol.

I bought the Gjallarhorn. I wanted an exotic so bad that I spent most my coins on the least used weapon slot. I'm also working on the bounty for Pocket Infinity so that will make two soon. Oh well I wanted the launcher since it was revealed and there is no guarantee I would ever get a chance to obtain it again. I REALLY wanted some Hunter armor, but Lucky Rasberry is just too underwhelming. I also gamble my motes of light and lost. Next time I have 25 I'm buying a wolf cloak

Yeah I think thats the right call. I hate being so negative but man it was such a let down to do all that work for a exotic and end up with that thing.Damn, guess I will go with the shotgun then

That'd make too much sense.
Lots of complaints come about in regards to Thorn and Bad Juju, but dunno how many have actually fully upgraded them. Invective seems like a pretty good shotty. I went with Thorn because I wanted a legendary/exotic hand cannon and already had a decent legendary shotty. Also already have Red Death so didn't want another pulse that badly. Working on the final step for Thorn then I have to upgrade it to properly judge.

I got a 23 motes of light now, not sure if i should gamble with them or not. The items you can buy with them from the speaker are just cosmetic, so gambling with Xur seems the best choice? I think...

I'm not done with the game but at this point it feels like a job rather than a game:
I have to play 20 more strikes for my exotic bounty - there are only 6 strikes In the entire game so this has got incredibly dull - not going to proceed with this - will do the weeklys got the strange coins and get this slowly over the next 6 months lol
I have to get crucible or vanguard marks and rep to buy stuff - this is incredibly repetitive and at rep level 2 for both factions I desperately need new content to make this less of a constant retreading of old ground.
I need to farm mars for materials to rank up my current legendary armour - I am probably going to do this next but my god collecting materials is dull
I need to do daily public events to get shards - that's fine but will take a while with it being limited to one daily a day
I'm doing all of the above to equip my character just so I can do a raid - as a player none of the above will make me any more skilled for the raid so it's frustrating to be locked behind so many grind walls.
This comes across as quite moany and I know all of the above is not too bad - I also know that this is the nature of mmo's but it's all adding up to put me off playing

How do you get exotic? Also can you switch subclasses on the go without losing your maxed out class?
