There's no point if you already know the whole story.. The game is mostly visual novel. Not going to buy it just to play the mini-games.
The anime came out before the game got localized anyways so already knew the plot.
Didn't have a vita and wasn't interested in buying one so just watched someone play it.

Danganronpa 2 is what actually pushed me to buy a vita though.

I played it first on the PSP before they announced the localization but I bought it and played it again. And the anime is so bad that doesn't even count as a valid exprerience of the game, if anything, it ruins it.

Maybe, but the anime is REALLY bad compared to the game, it skips lots of things and ruin others, i'm not saying you should buy DR1, but looking at the anime(or looking someone else playing the game) instead of playing the game was a very terrible idea.

Is Titan Attacks worth the $6? I'd likely play on my vita though I have a ps4 too. I like games like TxK, Luftrausers, etc.

Also -- can someone talk me down from NFS Carbon (psp) for Vita? I'm about to spend around $30 on racing games for my vita, and I really don't need a psp one I'll likely never get to but it's NFS (I already have NFS:MW).

Yea, honestly I almost did the same. I enjoy watching anime, so when it came out it was on my list to watch. Didn't even know the game was getting localized as the anime started before any localization announcement happened. The only thing that prevented me from watching the anime was simply running out of time due to other shows out that season, and I never got to it.

People giving you a hard time, but how were you supposed to know the anime would be bad/the game would get localized/you would eventually get a vita? (I thought the anime was fine personally, not nearly as amazing as the game was, but passable for an anime)

You're not the only here . Watched the anime when it was released + have seen gameplays/walkthroughs of DR1(because I was hyped about DR :/). A month ago, I've got DR2 and played the game. Have seen some DR2 gameplay before the English release, but meh. I wanted to play the game (couldn't wait for it). I'm still going to get DR1. Perhaps digitally(because I have DR2 digitally :/). It was on sale 2 weeks ago. But my limit for discounted games on the PSN Store is €20(DR1 was discounted for €22,50. Still too much for me :/).

And congrats with the Vita . Next thing on the list is the 64GB card(which I also need to buy, but Sony keeps giving sales with the games I want to have :'( . So I have to spend my money on PSN cards :X).

Just a heads up for anyone who didn't check out the sales yet, Sonic All Stars Racing is on sale for both PS3 and Vita . Both versions are very solid games with really fun gameplay, great track designs and lots of single player content. The best part is that both versions run solid (PS3 version runs well and so does Vita, some slowdowns aside), so they complement each other perfectly. Really wish they had cross-buy though (would made unlocking stuff faster in both versions X().

Great flash sale I think .

Both versions are very solid games with really fun gameplay, great track designs and lots of single player content. You got a 64GB card?! Congrats man ! You can hold well over 100 games in one spot now XD! Must feel awesome I would imagine :').

And the large spending on games? Ah, the Vita curse in full effect I see XD! When I first got mine up till early this year I AWAYS got stuff on Vita when sale got into effect ; made me now look back on my 160+ backlog and say "I got a lot of games!" XD!

Either way, great picks from the sale; Mega Man MHX and MMX4 are great games, NFS Most Wanted has a ton of content, and the rest of the sale filles the Vita racing itch well I think .

Gotta say, Racing Transformed brought me more fun then any Mario Kart I've ever played (the closest had to be Mario Kart DS, but that was largely due to the mission mode and the DS being my only handheld at that point). The transformations really felt unique and different, with each mode offering slightly different but not radically different gameplay (where's the the 'transformations' in Mario Kart 7 and 8 were just 'skins' so to speak; same gameplay with the visuals of what is happening making it feel different).

Will say this though, Mario Kart 8 did a solid job mixing things up; the anit-gravity makes the other modes, I guess 'click' more then they did in Mario Kart 7.

Can't wait to see some of you guys online for the multiplayer modes when it goes live!

I've heard Last Light is mostly a nod to characters you will remember from Second Son, so despite it being a prequel you will miss out on basically all story and background in FL because you will be confused. Pretty much not recommended to play it first unless you only care about gameplay. But I haven't played FL myself so this is only what others have told me. I guess comparable to playing FFX-2 before FFX, the gameplay in FFX-2 is better so if that is all you care about go for it, but you will miss the whole story and character development aspect playing them out of order.

Right now Pandemonium, Gex: Enter the Gecko and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver are all under $2. Any of these worth getting? Didn't play any pack in the PS1 days, so no nostalgia. Or is there something else for under $2 that is a better use of my money.

Day 1. So looking forward to this. Glad to hear your loved it because every time I look at any vid of the game I get excited for it, though I know reviews were mixed. Difficultly doesn't scare me though.

Soul Reaver is the best game in your pickings there. It's dated, visually, but was still a great game. Great atmosphere, gameplay, world design, story and voice acting. Nice puzzles and interesting combat choices. Was the next best thing to Ocarina of Time back in the day, as a 3d Zeldalike, and helped pioneer streaming loadtimes, so you never see any loading screens after starting. The way it switches dimensions on the fly, with all the architecture morphing and changing, is still pretty impressive.

Tempted to get it on Vita. I have it on Steam, but I would love to play on the go. The only negative is that All Stars Vita isn't Vita/PSTV compatible. Which really sucks because I plan to ad-hoc a lot of multi-player games between it and my Vita when I get one.
