Don't worry, you got the best, and the easiest, exotic bounty anyway. Took me 3 hours to complete it.

EDIT:Make sure you have 12.5k glimmer.

Done it all apart from the last stage. Managed to buy 47 before I ran out of glimmer - only need 750 more! Turned it off for now, though, and then I'll jump in to a quick dungeon and farm some.

It's all been super easy. Even the PVP stuff - if I play carefully I can get a 8-0 K/D ratio, so I got it in 2 matches.

I'm not done with the game but at this point it feels like a job rather than a game:

I have to play 20 more strikes for my exotic bounty - there are only 6 strikes In the entire game so this has got incredibly dull - not going to proceed with this - will do the weeklys got the strange coins and get this slowly over the next 6 months lol

I have to get crucible or vanguard marks and rep to buy stuff - this is incredibly repetitive and at rep level 2 for both factions I desperately need new content to make this less of a constant retreading of old ground.

I need to farm mars for materials to rank up my current legendary armour - I am probably going to do this next but my god collecting materials is dull

I need to do daily public events to get shards - that's fine but will take a while with it being limited to one daily a day

I'm doing all of the above to equip my character just so I can do a raid - as a player none of the above will make me any more skilled for the raid so it's frustrating to be locked behind so many grind walls.

This comes across as quite moany and I know all of the above is not too bad - I also know that this is the nature of mmo's but it's all adding up to put me off playing
What worries me most about the game is this. I don't want to do any grinding...I kinda like how quickly we leveled up before level 20.

Well, let me rephrase that. I do like to grind...if it doesn't feel like grinding. If I'm having fun. I don't wanna have to alter my play style to level up or anything. I hope the game is designed that my style of play will allow me to get to level 30.

You're gonna be in for a rude awakening once you hit level 24, the serious grind and constant praying for good RNG and ascendant shards begins. At level 28, nearing 29 I'm officially burned out.

The blacksmith shader is by far the best shader I have seen in the game.

I used Blacksmith until I got Thunderdevil(entirely silvery blue) from some random thing I forget. Now I'm using the Chatterwhite from beating the raid.

Blacksmith is nice, depending on the current armor. I don't like when the yellow becomes to prevalent.

Fuck ascendent shards. Seriously. I'm so done with trying to get materials.

I'm officially bored.

Ok, the level 26 Epic strike for the exotic weapon is absolute bullshit. BRB, rerolling a Titan to try and get back to the part of the game I loved. Big thanks to the kind GAFfers who came for help, guess level 28 and being loaded on the ammo drops is going to be the way to approach this shit.

Does the boss at the end of the moon strike mission bug out? Sometimes you get millions of adds swarm everywhere, and other times you don't. Also i notice adds randomly despawn and re-spawn full health when this seems to happen, makes the boss take forever to kill.

Eh. We'll see.

Just saying, you can't level beyond 24 if you aren't equipped with legendaries and at least one exotic BiS, count that with the hunt for ascendant shards and materials. I don't know, it's more bearable with friends at least in my case. The raid is most definitely worth the grind

After I do the raid, Im done with this game. I wish they had more content for me to do.

The boss is a bullet sponge, but when you're down to a few manageable adds, just keep them alive because the sooner you kill them, the sooner more spawn.

it is. the only variable is time. if you just stick to doing what you feel like (with the caveat of grabbing all the bounties that are relatively related to the stuff you're doing), you'll get there eventually.

Praying for good RNG has been exactly 0% of my experience with Destiny. Upon hitting 24 I was 3 vanguard bounties away from rank 2. I bought my legendary gauntlets and upgraded them once and hit 25. I'm now almost 27. Now there are things I care about more in the short term than raising my level further.

if you're getting burned out just take a break. This is designed to be played for months or even years, not "finished". if you're level 28 already I promise you will not be getting left behind.

Yeah, this is my expected route. By time I hit 24 I'll definitely be vanguard rank 2.

I just decrypted 5 legendaries, got 2 motes of light, 1 shard and 2 blue items..

Tell me about it, I've had the same results. Except that I got a rockat launcher from a blue one.

Guys, should I grab the Sunbreakers? Or should I wait for something else? I don't know what to do!

Just bought it for Xbox One. I've done one mission, wondered around the Tower for a while and getting to grips with everything. First impressions are really good - the gunplay is great fun as I'd expect.

I think I'm going to enjoy this game, even though today's purchase was out of boredom rather than anything else. Was worried about all the negativity and the fact I'll be playing mostly solo. However, needed to to see what all the fuss was about!

Sure it might be designed for playing for month but there not enough content for that.

Tried to do it last night with 2 24's and a 23.

We got rolled. Didn't even feel possible. I just watched video of a way to do it without ever entering the room but we probably died 10-20 time before we gave up. It is hard to shoot phogoth with 7-8 yellow wizard and knights all swarming your shit!

As for the room with the 3 runes to unlock it took us quite a few tries too. We had to hang out around the entrance we can in and back out to the previous room on occasion. Be careful though. We were getting attacked by a knight and a wizard from that room at the same time so we took them out right away so we had a place to retreat to.

Just did it as 2 24's and a 23. If you can't do first room. Your fucked for phogoth. It's mayhem
Took about 7 attempts on boss section. The dudetails who's team o joined didn't even get the strange coins. He was pissed after all that effort.

Got my sunbeakers now yay

take your time with it. explore, soak in the details and environments. dont rush to the grind, it will be there soon enough anyways.

I just wanna say thanks too the ppl that made bungie take away the possibility too buy 1 strange coins for glimmer per week. Im not salty at all because I never got any.

What level are you? If you are relatively high level you always get matched with people speed running the pits. Takes like 10 mins tops.

Nice. That's about how long it takes me in Devils Lair. I'll give it another run and see.
