I do envy the Warlock, Hunter classes and their clothing accessories. I hope some Titan armours have the fur around the neck or shoulders like these.

Man, I cannot figure out how to solo the Moon strike. I get all the way down to Phogoth, wipe out most of the trash, and then invariably get pummeled to death by knights or like 5 wizards as I'm crouched behind that rock where you are supposed to be relatively "safe".

Entrance camp and watch the shrieker that spawns above you. Time consuming but most effective
 
I am really torn. I grinded the past few days to get 13 strange coins for Xur. I am a Warlock and the gauntlets are nice but they are not that much better than the rares I have now. Plus I have put work into upgrading them. I am not sold on being a Sun bro so the perk doesnt really help me. I guess I will wait till next week and hope he has a different piece of armor. Kind of bummed now. If I can get 4 more Motes of Light I can gamble on an exotic I guess.
 
I have to get 50 special ammo synths? Wtf..just buy them or is there a spot to farm?
Fuck it, I just bought them all since I had a ton of Glimmer.

I took that gamble and failed. Looks like I will be making a hunter at some point.

As a warlock, I think it's worth it simply cause it'll level you quicker than a simple ol rare once upgraded to it's fullest potential
 
With the help of Mr. Famicom and Admiral Puppy, I was able to play all the strikes yesterday; I hadn't played them all.

Here's my ranking.

1. Cerberus Vae III – Not sure why this is my favorite. I think it's because of how it mixes some great on-foot and vehicular combat. You even fight a tank! Well, two I guess if you count the final boss.

2. Dust Palace – Probably because the boss fight is unlike anything else in the game, this one comes in the number two spot for me.

3. The Nexus – Pretty cool boss fight at the end set in an interesting environment.

4. Sepiks Prime – The first strike still holds up even with the newest additions. I've played this one the most, understandably, and I gotta say that I still enjoy it. Might go up in the future if my feelings change from other strikes.

5. Winter's Run – Mostly disappointing. The final boss fight is okay. What bothers me the most is that it's not all that different from a campaign mission.

6. The Summoning Pits – Yeah...played this with Mr. Famicom and Admiral Puppy. Hive Wizards aren't a good wave enemy if you have more than one of them.

Buy them, but you can farm for glimmer on earth and the moon mission with the hive with that thing that gives you extra glimmer from kills

I've found the earth spot more effective cause I just sit there and let everyone do the work with the double glimmer thing used.

Same. Although I don't know if I want to take my chances on an exotic engram. Not with my luck.

Yea everything up to the boss was great.
 
So the first 2 upgrades on legendary armor gives you +2 light each, but third one which requires those fucking shards gives you just +1 light?

So I do my Vanguard Bounties every day. Some times I do a few Crucible ones as well. Vanguard rank is at 3, Crucible is at 1. I have yet to get an exotic bounty. I am lvl 27 almost 28. I am about to give up, is there any way else to trigger the exotic bounty?

I earned my first legendary gauntlet Justicar's Grip! My Hunter went from level 20 to 21 with one weapon equip. I do 't want to go Down to my level three Titan yet.

Treasure's Cove is the best spot to grind IMHO.

Fuck me I suck at this game, my buddy and I have been trying to beat this mission for the past couple of days... me at 22, him at 21, and again with me at 23 and him at 22, and last night with me at 24 and him at 23. We get to the third leg in that circle room and the wizards fucking waste us, we usually fail trying to rez the other :(

Got my first exotic from my first purple engram last night... the Gjallerhorn (sp?) heh! I literally lolled :) (even posted about it right after it happened... in the wrong thread lol! stoopid touch screens) Fuck it, I'll use it till I get something better.

I'm right there with you. It's crazy how some people have triggered it 2-3+ times already, I'm still waiting for my first and I do them every day.
 
If I had to rank the strikes I'd probably go:

  1. Dust Palace
  2. Cerberus Vae III
  3. The Devil's Lair
  4. The Nexus
  5. Winter's Lair
  6. Summoning Pits

Dust Palace is one of the few I actually hope pops up. It's pretty fast to go through and it's fun. I'm excited for more strikes when the DLC comes out.

Don't feel bad. It took me and 2 people a loooong time last night. Even with a 26/27 guy.
Honestly, not sure how I was able to pull it off..we wiped a lot last night.

I had given up on getting one but got it yesterday. I had other reasons to be doing the bounties, like the XP for my weapons and other subclass. So I was gonna be doing them anyway.
 
Nearly got to Crucible rank 2, can finally get my last legendary armour piece (all bought, none found). Then to find some legendary/exotic weapons.

Yeah I play with a group of 4-5 guys every night and none of them have been able to get the exotic bounty's either. I have almost 100 hours into this damn game already lol. I want an exotic that I have to work for and not get from a vendor.
 
Legendary engrams have to be one of the worst game mechanics I've seen in a while. It's like they're designed to make gamers hate Bungie. A rare random drop that randomly turns into something else which often times will be complete shit. Related to this, I just got 2 Ascendant Energy from a legendary engram.

Yeah I dunno. I'm 24, 1.6 days and I still can't stop playing. And I have FIVE subclasses still to level after Striker.

Really can't see myself running out of stuff to do before the expansion lol

I'm up for joining someone's raid party if they've got room.

Also, what is the "fastest" way to grind Ascendant Shards? I would assume public events, but is there anything else?
 
so my Warlock is halfway to 28, only need to do the Raid and Nightfall (wtb a regular group).
While farming moon for some items, O came across 5 legendary items..all of them for hunter.. whenever im lvling a hunter up to 20 hes instantly full legendary / exotic chest (rngesus) apart from weapons lol
