Bungie has lost it's way in terms of competitive MP

I disagree, actually
First Light was just......so, so, SO vehicle-heavy in the Beta, but Bungie significantly decreased the number of available vehicles on that map

I just got 17 kills while both of my teammates had 5 a piece and they got great loot and I got absolutely nothing.


This game sucks.

Swings and roundabouts though, I've been top and gotten nothing...but then again, I've been near the bottom and gotten great stuff, and you know what: it made me feel better

I do think they need to implement a way to reward 1st/2nd/3rd with something meaningful, then maybe keep 1-2 random drops for anyone to get....that would be a bit fairer.

Ehhh, not that much hassle. Shove a memory stick into a controller slot, select which screens you want the PS4 to copy over, and then upload them to your preferred hosting site.

If you can cloak revive then yes.
Won't be doing much if any damage, but a good high level player could use revives.
It will take a very long time.

Care to elaborate? I love the PvP. Lots of people were wanting Halo and seem to be disappointed because it's not Halo. Let me guess, you don't like supers and ADS? I wouldn't say they have lost their way at all (that's a pretty strong statement), just changing and growing, trying new things.

I'm loving this game but the fact that legendary engrams are SO hard to come by and they NEVER give purples... is idiotic game design.


Have BLUES give blues. Legendarys are MUCH harder to come by... have them give PURPLES.

I've never gotten a legendary from a purple engram and I'm at a wall at 26 1/2...


THE single most idiotic design decision ever.

I don't want free drops, I don't want freebies or gimmies... I want legendarys to be super hard to come by and GIVE purples...

Why the hell would you have RNG (very, VERY low RNG) on top of RNG?!

green should give green with a chance of blue
blue should give blue with a chance of purple
purple should give purple with a chance of gold
gold should always give gold
decoherent engrams should be the only ones allowed to give you materials or something for a different class

this way you always know what you're getting - even if it's not as good as what you have - but you can also still be surprised. The current system is inconsistent, annoying and most importantly unrewarding. the only reason i can think of for them to set it up this way is to mask the fact that there isn't that much gear or weapons in the game, thus making it harder to get what isn't in the shops. when they pretty much all look the same anyway, i don't see why it matters

Yay. Just bought that exotic Rocket Launcher from Xur. There's a mission on Venus where you can get a guaranteed Strange Coin (stumbled upon this by accident). It's the mission where you fight that Captain in that chair on that ship.

Anyway, I think I'm done with playing the game as much as I have. I now have a ton of exotic weapons and armor, and I'm decked out in purple and yellow. I have Vanguard to rank 3 and Crucible to Rank 2 with FWC soon to be rank 1.

I don't have much reason to play the game aside from doing my bounties (which I can be far low key about now) and raiding. Not to say the game is bad because it isn't, but I'll probably get heavy into the game again once more raids come out or more planets open up with strikes and whatnot.

This game is essentially a Free to Play MMO with no store requiring real money. I think it handles these aspects well and I look forward to what Bungie does with Destiny in the future. I'm glad someone finally made a first person shooter like this.

Also, if anyone's up for raiding, I should be around later tonight on the East coast. Perhaps around 8 or 9 PM. I'm going to a concert now.

If not tonight, then maybe tomorrow.

Death from anything subtracts points, but you don't need to use a Void Weapon to get the kill points
Everything from Grenades to Supers to even Melee(On a Voidwalker Warlock) I think counts as Void Damage

This exotic gear quest for pvp is gonna be awful and time consuming. Why does it force me to use Void damage when none of the primary weapons have this ability. It forces me to use my fusion rifle only

COD preorder gets you blacksmith. I think there are three shader codes that are reusable with the limited edition.
