yes, maybe even moreso. both have very addicting qualities in their own rights but the loot thirst in Diablo is even greater as the drop rates are so much higher quality wise

I would not know. I don't play it online. I think I played diablo 2 in a lan once or twice. That's the extent of my diablo multiplayer.

Gifts are awesome though (thought I never get any).
 
Wait, so what's happening with the servers? I went afk for a few minutes to make a phone call and I come back and everything has turned to shit.

5 minutes before the server shut down, RNG was on my side.

Got Ascendant Energy from a Public. Found a legendary there, was armor for my class. Got exotic bounty as well. And then when I wanted to do Nexus without dying... server was down.

They are verrrrry different. I can't say for sure if you'd like it or not based on Destiny. I think you can get a demo though, at least on PC?

It's illegal. Also the means by which DDOSes are usually done is very illegal (botnets).

It can be very hard or impossible to track down the guilty party, thought.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many times you can get gear from The Glass Vault?

The first time I beat it, I got gear. The second time I beat it (with a fireteam leader who hadn't done the raid at all), I got gear, but the leader dropped out before the last 2 encounters. We called in a sub, but I didn't get gear for those 2 encounters.

The third time I did it, I got nothing. Same for the fourth time. Tried it on hard, and the chest you get after opening the door was empty, so we didn't even attempt the Templar.

Anyone know anything about this?
 
FFS I work fuckin' hard all week to enjoy my weekends gaming and some spotty little dickless losers think it's clever to spoil others fun.

I'd pay money for some "alone time" in a room with these jack-asses.

Talent-less morons who delight in taking down others hard work. There's a special place in hell for such wankers.

Is PSN also down?

I see. But I dont believe they are helpless. Cant they isolate the source of the request and deny it or something? (has no clue about Servers)

Not necessarily. I got both and while I like D3 I am waaaaaayyyy more into Destiny. Atmosphere is much better and the level progression much more more natural. In Dialbo 3 you may get nothing for hours and then suddenly an item that improves your stats like crazy.

I have played the Diablo series, since the original, strictly solo. I have tried for the past week to get my PC friends to get consoles.

I'll get them eventually.
