Yet oddly enough, people who rely on RNG are the ones complaining while those of us that utilize marks and reputation are fine and content. The "I don't like doing x because it takes to long/ is boring" complaint gets invalidated when you mindlessly shoot at a low level cave for hours.
Some People have already maxed my Marks and would really like to have some new gear. The Cap on Marks makes abso-fucking-lutelty no fucking sense, there isn't a monthly fee there's no reason to drag the suffering out anymore than need be.
There still needs to be a cap on progression to keep the playerbase from running through everything in the first week and then complaining that there's nothing else to do.
As it is, the game isn't even 2 weeks old and people are fully decked out.
So how much time does the raid take now that people are figuring it out?
One group did a 48 minute speedrun

Has anyone upgraded Thorn enough to know if the DoT effect is any good?
So how much time does the raid take now that people are figuring it out?
Goodness. That's nuts.
Ah well it's good to hear that it has some use. I guess I'll continue upgrading it. The point about keeping shields down seems like a great thing, but that 6 round limit is a little brutal compared to 12.It's ok. Can keep shields down a bit longer, which matters in tough strikes, particularly Epic where there's more shielded enemies and the shields come back up faster.
It also has the nifty effect of occasionally staggering Phalanxes even if you hit their shield. Can also one shot body shot some mobs that would normally require a headshot to 1sk.
Sadly it has a 6 round chamber and a shit reload time.
I use a 12 round HC over it for pvp, and most of the time in pve
(and that's with a setup that has nearly constant War Machine uptime, meaning I have 150% faster reloads almost all the time while using it)
I do pull it out when I'm in fights with tough mobs on missions where ammo efficiency matters, but otherwise it's not amazing.
Quick note, you may not want to burn ascendant shards on your current legendaries. At most you can hit 29 with non-raid legendaries, and those raid legendaries need ascendant materials to cap.
I'd say stay at 28, store your shards and wait for raid armor.
i'm laughing and i'm crying... but i sympathize completely.![]()

burn.Congrats. You've figured out what it means to Become Legend.
Finally hit 26, glad I can finally raid.
Then that is still Bungies fault for not having enough content out after all this time developing the game
I gotta say, the stories in here are gold.Fuck Rahool. 4 Legendary Engrams today and each one turned blue, then a blue engram finally rolls legendary gloves for a hunter. I am a warlock. FML
That probably depends on what your goals are. Raid drops are obviously RNG based, and if you want to start working on Hard mode immediately you are going to want to be level 29. We did have a couple 27s when we working on Templar, but I'm sure the encounter would have been a ton more manageable with a full party of 29s.

And farming a low level cave is? I haven't farmed anything and I'm level 27. I've just played a big mixture of everything the game offers and geared up over time.

And a familiar weapon
Not at all actually. It's simply not possible to create "enough" content in a progression game like this. Other games pad their content with fetch quests, tail this npc quests, explore these random areas because quests, etc... And people complain about this kind of content constantly.
But as you can see when a Dev doesn't fill their game with a bunch of filler content, people are quick to complain about a lack of content. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Capping Marks simply slows progression and it doesn't even slow progression anywhere near as much as other games with similar systems and we have people whining about not being able to gear fast enough. Why? Why do you need to have the best everything in the game within the first 11 days? Why is that a bad thing?

Can you only equip one exotic Ramon piece? I know the gun is one equipped exotic, but unsure of the armor.
One weapon and one Ramon.

I need 3 strange coins. Whats the best way to do this other than the weekly heroic? I tried it a few mins ago and couldnt do it.
So do I have to repeat the story again if I create a second character or is everything unlocked?
Fuck me.....You have to play through it again unfortunately.
