It wouldn't be as bad if the percentage of legendary from them were better. Out of 14 that I've found, only 3 ended up being legendary, with one being exotic.

I find it easier to solo the daily heroics, I would say it's easier yeah.
Start the mission on hard so you won't have to do the first part (you start at the temple). And don't kill the knight. Everything else is fair game. If you kill the knight it saves and you'll have to restart.

I do. 10 seconds remaining for automatic respawn. Same message displayed for 15 seconds.
Yes, happened a lot yesterday.
It sucks a lot. Some people got them twice already. Seems like the RNG doesn't have any checks or balances.

So everyone recommends joining a faction so I decided dead orbit, so I have been doing tons of patrols e.t.c and I've only just noticed now to buy the armours e.t.c u need crucible points. Wtf so I'm forced todo multiplayer in order to buy anything? Did I join the wrong faction?

I've played for 30 hours and not one of my legendary engrams have been legendary. Starting to feel the grind. Thank God I enjoy the MP.

That's the thing about personal experience: it's typically unique and not indicative of the whole. I'm level 22, every usable piece of gear I got, and my one legendary, was from RNG. The strikes have netted me nothing but motes, cryptarch rep, and marks. I hope it starts working out for me better.
I dn't know, he's just ranting about the obvious flaws.
It dosn't help that he starts by quoting the game as having a $500m budget...

Man, this is really getting frustrating. Just leveled up my cryptarch and got 2 legemdary engrams but got only vrap in the end. That makes it my 5th legendary engram that didn't turn into a legendary item....
Meanwhile my PSN buddy got a legendary handgun with his very first legendary engram. RNG god hates me.

He's too annoying to sit through. Some fat dude in a leather jacket being loud and saying "fuck" a lot for comedic purpose is about as awful as it gets. He's not funny or affable and I'd never want to spend a single minute with this idiot. Why can't he just review games like a normal person and leave the funny stuff up to someone who is, well, funny.

I don't recommend joining a faction if you don't enjoy PvP, know. Put on any other class item and work on your Vanguard rank. Sorry you were misled.

You need crucible marks for every faction bar the vanguard one in which you need anguard marks. It doesn't take long to get 65 marks (that's what the gauntlet, chest, and leg pieces go for). You get 3 marks per game if you win and 2 if you lose.

You need to ease the fuck up. Nothing Angry Joe could possibly have said is worth an ad hominem attack. It's okay for people to dislike things you like and vice versa.

I think some people forgot to upgrade fully or have the patience too. A lot of guns are way better when fully upgraded.
Just save the materials for now, you'll understand when you need it.
Upgrading your best gear to progress is a big part of the late game. Keep collecting all materials you come across.

Yep. For example, cycle over the defense upgrades on a piece of Legendary armour and it'll show you what mats you need.
The second half of he tree requires ascendent shards/energy too, which is difficult to come by. You can get them by dismantling unearned legendary or exotic items as well as from engrams. You also get one for completing your first gold tier public event or the day.
No, I just don't think it's worth watching if you've spent a significant amount of time with the game or read a dozen reviews already.

There's a whole review thread for this crap.
I don't particularly enjoy Angry Joe either but really, you need to get over it. You seem to be an absolutely joyless person between this and you chiding people for not playing the game 'properly' (aka the way you play).
This game is so good. Redoing missions on level 28 difficulty is truly how the game was meant to be played. Every fight is a fight to survive.
My mate finally hit level 20 today too. Lucky bastard got The Final Boss at of his first legendary engram ever. S'all downhill from here buddy!

The in-game social/community features are quite limited so you have to work with what's given to you (not much) and hope for the best.
People directing you ask on here or go to another site is indicative of how Bungie failed with regards to social features in the actual game.

Fair enough, the name calling was unwarranted but at least you agree. He actually said at the end he enjoyed the game too, just lots let it down.
You have to harass people in town or the over world with invites. Good luck though, I've finished the game and no randoms ever accepted my invites, the game is insanely anti social, story missions really need matchmaking and daily/weekly strikes.
I have that gun too, it's a PVE beast.

Not that I know of. It's either one of two things: one, the game was rushed out the door, no time for a map, or two, some silly explanation about wanting players to explore their environments organically.

You can't, they didn't include any ingame communication in a MMO-FPS game. You have to make friends outside of the game
