Bad Juju? Ahh you're just getting started my friend. Enjoy grinding the ~200,000 xp to unlock String of Curses, the gun is absolute trash until that upgrade is done.

That takes extra time. And like I said, they had a habit of letting things get out. That's causing *me* problems. I don't mind when others run in to get ammo, not gonna give a shit if someone throws a hissy fit over me doing it.

holy moly...I never got into crucible without at least 3 guys, if I do it's just to a bounty then I bounce. I could never play a losing team for long when they suck like that.
An aside, I'm quite in love with Destiny. Flaws and all...something about it, keeps me coming back to it every week. Thought I would be satisfied with legendary armor, but giving me FF14 vibes tbh...

Its really not similar to CODs model at all. Its honestly in between the "map pack" model and the full scale Blizzard Expansions.
From what I was told The Dark Below has
- 3 Crucible maps.
- 2 Strikes (1 Playstation exclusive)
- 5 story missions
- and the new gear.
Thats is a massive amount of content in comparrison to a COD expansion. 2 DLCs of that size would not be much smaller than Reaper of Souls in terms of amount of gameplay time you can get out of them.
You're right. I love the raid, but there really isn't much to do besides pvp.
At least with expansions, you get more content, but again, I think an expansion should be more than a small addition to the game.

I did surprisingly well early level, I still got one shotted a lot (still do), but considering I usually struggle with first person shooters and controllers I think they did an okay job on levellin the playing field.
You can do that in PvE, right? Blaaaaaaaah

See, the problem is you come at people with these subjective challenges.
"not much else to enjoy" refutes the idea that someone, let's just say me for example, enjoys patrols and heroic story levels and strikes and just generally playing the game.
In case you're wondering why people have problems with your posts. It's not about building a hug box, it's about you building arguments that denigrate those with subjective preferences different to yours.

"chasing them down" entails moving your sites to the right. It takes about 1-2 seconds max...
It's would be better for everyone if players didn't rush into the cave every time they ran out of ammo.

No we live in a world of entitlement. It just creeps into video games. It isn't super serious but it is nice to think of others. But alas this is the world today. Got to get mine to hell with the group. Wait I could switch weapons and auto respawn ammo or dismantle my greens? No to hell with the majority.
Lol at some attempting to make a case that blink jump and Bladedancer stealth capabilities aren't some of the most potent pvp mechanics in the game. Add to that their super and Bladedancer subclass is Crucible easy mode.
I don't care either way, I (typically) post strong showings regardless, but if any subclass can truly be considered "OP" in pvp, it's that.
Edit: And more importantly, I'm always having FUN regardless.

Price difference though, these will probably at least $20 separately, where as COD is 15 for 4 MP maps, 1 zombies map and a couple weapons. Definitely wouldn't call it massive in comparison.
Well, cool. I ended up springing for the "Limited Edition" PS4 version so I guess I've already paid for that expansion and the next one.
Does anyone know if more expansions are planned? Or do we have to wait Destiny 2 to explore the Jovian worlds and see who "the nine" actually are?
The new gear is partially Rares so those are essentially useless if they still cap Light at 15. I've paid money to take out more garbage to the glimmer dumpster.
I went from a level 21 to 24 in three hours using dat cave. I screwed around and earned 13 blues and two legendaries. Why in the shit do people try to block your path when you're shooting into the cave? I'm talking about people with higher levels than you.
The sad part is Bungie included legendary cloaks. You heard me, LEGENDARY CLOAKS THAT DON'T INCLUDE LIGHT. WHAT THE FUCK *Angry Joe voice*
You know what else sad? None of this gear is what I want. Let me wear my FWC gear dammit. At least let me hold a FWC hand cannon. I hope to hit level 25 by tomorrow night at the latest.

Though speaking of social contracts and the greater good, I recommend getting in a fire team with other farmers. Equip black wax and watch the glimmer pour in
Hit Options -> tab left to "roster" -> click over a player, hit X -> click "join fireteam".

There is, you choose if people can join or not. Those you are trying to join have it set to invite only.
Yeah, if the thralls don't decide to hide while reloading the hand cannon. I'll just keep in mind that I should go to another instance should I ever see your username. I'd hate to ruin your experience repeatedly shooting into a cave.

It's such BS that the nightfall strike doesn't support matchmaking. What is it with Bungie's assbackwards decisions. Conceivably only the Warlock can make that thing solo, since you can revive yourself.

Maybe massive a slight overstatement but it certainly is more than a COD pack.
IDK I'm also not getting the general negativity around Destiny so maybe I'm a lil bias on this one. Honestly 35 for 2 packs of that size doesn't feel like bad pricing to me at all. I'll be replaying those Strikes and Crucible maps a lot.

Yes. But it's awful. The gun only has a 15 round mag and horrible recoil. Once you get the recoil reduction upgrade and String of Curses it becomes unbelievable in PvE, but you're literally gimped if you're using that gun before you unlock those upgrades.
What I did was just only equip the gun when turning in bounties, because it's literally so awful you can't do anything worthwhile with it until it's upgraded.

Is it because I don't have a legendary primary? It just seems impossible to solo, literally like 5 witches come out during the last wave and they have endless plasma. They also take a while to go down without using a Heavy weapon.
