The Skywatch cave offers multiple cool things. Besides the loot cave, there's a navsat public event about once an hour, and sometimes there's a pseudo-public event where a massive horde of hive and fallen flood that area for what feels like 3+ minutes straight. You get no special reward, but I actually find those events to be more fun than the standard public ones. I feel there is a much larger number of enemies, and a lot more majors and ultra, making it more challenging.

I don't know if Bungie did it intentionally, but it makes farming there less monotonous. It's the best look site so far, and having regular breaks to engage in actual gameplay is fun. Especially since we don't have to change locations to do it. PEACE.

I just love that all-out ruckus, getting in the middle of that is some of the best fun I've had in the game.

As for Christmas Cave, I watched a group working on that, I don't know if they were in a party chat or it was "the unwritten rules of the cave", but the way they managed it, ran for ammo, left one behind in the cave to prevent spawns while the others got set up again and then the last guy returned to position while the others began their "work", was... impressive.

Well, I guess I know what I'm doing later. I tried it in PVP and was just sorely disappointed in the shallow clip, miss once and you're fucked.
 
Nightfall bugged out for me .. we were in the process of killing all the adds except 1 and then while we walked back upstairs to formulate a plan we received the Mission Complete screen. We never even had to hit Phogoth once!

I ended up getting 12 Ascended Energy. Not what I wanted/needed, but I'll take it. I now have 29 Energies I'm waiting to unload on a Legendary/Exotic primary.
 
Got the bounty for Pocket Infinity a couple of days ago and today I got the bounty for Super Good Advice as well, does anyone know if you can vault these bounty weapons once you complete them? It's also a bit annoying that I can only pick up 3 other bounties now until I finish both of them.
 
Eight legendary items and one exotic in my vault...for Titan. At least I know what class I'm playing next! Treasure Cave did get me an exotic rocket launcher and about six strange coins today. :)

Yes, why not screw over the already fucked RNG some more and run it down to the ground were getting any purple drop is almost impossible.
 
I have either two exotic or legendary chest pieces for each class now :\

give me a legendary helmet for my warlock or gauntlets for my titan dammit

Hey man. Just starting up on XB1 so I won't be ready but add me and I'll be ready to rock in a week or two. Have a lvl25 hunter on ps4. Thoughts on a second class? Was thinking titan.
 
Finally got a legendary primary and of course it's a scout rifle. I am really not feeling that weapon class as a Titan. Give me an auto or pulse rifle.

We need two more people for last two stages of the raid. I'm talking about the part where you get relics in portals and beat the final boss. If you are level 27+ and still have to that part, please join us! We're nice guys. We want to start in about 15/20 minutes.

I used to hate First Light. Until I started Sniping. Now its my favorite map. And honestly there's like 2 maps you can do snipe effectively on so no one should complain about how open it is.

The turrets are ridiculous though.
 
Just finished a PvP match, first of my team, the only one with +1 K/D. Everyone gets an engram but me, I don't receive anything.

Play more. Random is random and it's good for the game this way.

Yeah, turrets are incredibly strong. On those maps I might need to hold onto my grenades and supers to use exclusively on them as well as interceptors.

I'm going to try to stick to indoor areas more often and if not I'll try to get better at sniping (because I'm super terrible at sniping in PvP).
 
So is there anything I can do about a lot of random disconnects?
This is the only game that does it to me. Sometimes it will be going just fine and then BOOM disconnect yet i'm still on XBL. I'm using a ethernet cord and everything.
Not quite sure what the issue is.
 
Leveled up the cryptarch and I got the god of war shader, a strange coin, exotic gauntlets, and a legendary pulse rifle. I got realllllly lucky.

Pvp drops are the pvp version of engrams dropping in pve. Entirely random.

You don't get more drops in pve for doing better, same as pvp.

Plenty of people like it because it makes perfect sense.

If you reward the best players with more chance at more powerful items the power gap will widen.

The worse players would have less incentive to play.

It's fine.
